  1. From the saloon entrance though to the dinning area there is a very executive corporate lobby vibe. This one however, is cold and stiff with zero personality as are the accommodations. I'd be fearful after putting my drink down that it would freeze solid. That being said, I like the bridge where for me it is all business so I can appreciate the minimalist approach. However, I would tire of it in a short amount of time. Fortunately it wouldn't take too much to change the stark arctic temperature to warm, welcoming and inviting atmosphere. For the love of a personality hang and display some art! Have a good week Nick.

  2. The minimalist style and relaxing ambiance of the boat was reflected in your commentary performance, did notice your pace change between inside and out.
I totally get it, agree not everyones cup-of-tea, but a lovely yacht. Cheers Nick.

  3. My taste is very minimalist but minimalist doesn’t mean doesn’t have to mean “cold” and this boat feels “cold” to me throughout. I think it needs some warmth added to the colour palette. And maybe a few statement art pieces or some furniture that is a bit more architectural. The main salon dining chairs look cheap. Could have done way better there. Great neutral starting point, but I’d want to give it a bit more warmth.

  4. I’ve always liked, but could never afford, Danish/Swedish furniture (I don’t mean IKEA), with its minimalist sensibilities, stylish, functional, clutter free. My first impression of this yacht was that it looks like a high-end apartment or boutique hotel with funky porthole windows. Just when you think these boats are all about showing off your wealth, we get an example showing restraint. Thanks Nick for keeping us guessing what you’ll bring us next.

  5. Nick
As always, nice bit of kit, along with an excellent presentation
You are %100 correct with your reference to the Swedish minimalistic theme
Horizon do know what they are doing, and are right up there with the best
I would like to mention a statement mentioned by one of swedens greatest exports, Zlatan Ibrahimovic
He was once on an American talk show, where the presenter stated that rich people do not shop at IKEA,
The reply from the Swedish football god was ," yes but intelligent people do"
jimmy kimmel was the talk show host i think (absolute tosser by the way)
but anyway Horizon, top, top end product
the owner is obviously very pleased, and has fantastic taste and imagination
    end product = excellent
    happy days folks

  6. Not just this yacht, but I never get where people put their drinks in the salon area. The floor?

  7. I recently commented that yachts with impressive external sound systems might be a nuisance in port, but Nick reassured me that most owners of luxury yachts are well-behaved. Then we have this boat with an external cinema! I would imagine that anyone moored nearby would be affected by the large screen erected in the bow, even if earbuds were used for sound. If they used the usual surround sound system, it must be quite something. Nordic Noir, anyone?

  8. 🤔 entrance looks a bit unfinished due to the lack of….well most things. Owners gone too far with the minimalist theme. Not my boat though so each to their own.

  9. Not to my tastes, but as always a thorough and entertaining walk-through, thank you.

Style is very subjective of course; and often I feel boats' interiors are too embellished with glitz, but this one is so minimalist as to luck unfinished, unused and quite unwelcoming. A little Italian style mixed with a little Kelly Hoppen would suit me very well.

  10. "It's almost a kind of Swedish feel" I was thinking IKEA when you walked into the owners' cabin. :0)
The minimalist look works well from the perspective of offering a blank canvas for a review and imagining personalisation. A little bit of colour would go a long way for me.

  11. Sorry Nick. I don’t see Zen. I see bland. That’s awful. It’s so plain. There’s no character.

But, like you say, it’s what the owner wants. I bet they’re fun in conversations 🤣

  12. Very clean lines. Amazing amount of room. No unnecessary "frou-frou", but still looks comfortable. Everything gets stowed away, and you don't know it's there until you need it. Not everyone needs granite and marble. This would be a yacht for me.

  13. A minimalist masterpiece. This is my style. I know not for everyone, but it is beautiful to me. No distractions, clean lines. Perfect.

  14. A minimalist 115 coastal cruiser is such a juxtaposition philosophers should write about it, or make a tik-tok dance I don't know. A wonderful review as per. That is the nicest bow arrangement I have ever seen.

  15. Terrible interior for a yacht of this calibre, I laughed every time you mentioned " Minimalistic", it couldn't be barer, everything looks like it's white Formica, and it could easily be a sea hospital LOL. Definitely not worth nearly 12 million, there are more luxurious yachts for this price. If the owner would drop the price by around 3 million then that could be used to redo the whole interior in a wonderful wood and furniture worthy of this yacht.

  16. a bit bland for my tastes but then again to each his own. My tastes can't afford multimillion dollar yachts so perhaps voyeurs can't be picky.😅

  17. Congrats to the guy for not caring what others think. All that matters is what you like. With this interior, it seems it wouldn't take long or cost much to re-do the interior. For me, I'd do a classic look with woods and keep it simple, too. No fancy artwork,no big wine storage, runners if needed, no carpet, Nice interior but no keeping up with the Jones crap.

  18. With it being minimum who ever bought it aften would have a complete blank canvas for them to work with, which is a good thing

  19. The IKEA-ignorance in the comments speaks for itself! Design and functionality is on spot! This is not Essex or Blackpool! This is top notch shite!
