  5. Down the road you might want to think about installing a head hunter sewage treatment system and they do make them small enough for boats your size and smaller and it's a big help cause that means it will treat the sewage and you can even dump into harbor cause you dumping only near Potato bowl water in other words you're not gonna be adding any pollution into the Marina

  6. Just wonderful watching your “big fat Greek adventure “! Stunning scenery, fascinating ports on these small islands and always fun to hear your commentary…till next time❤️⚓️

  7. Great video Mark and Fiona. Good to see your videography improving with each episode along with your boat handling😜!. Loved Vathy which reminded me of Chania on Crete. Also what a beautiful spot Methana. I can see where it got it's name (Methane!!). Pity your battery went flat as I was keen to rate your berthing skills in Athens. Quick question – With so much anchor chain out when Med mooring, do they ever get tangled with others and/or caught by keels if not hard on the bottom?

  8. Good day Mark. I'm weeks behind in watching videos but I wanted to make a suggestion. I noticed when you used a mooring ball that you only used one line when attaching to the pendant. After you've picked up the pendant, route a second line through the eye of the pendant and tie it off to the opposite bow cleat. That will help keep the boat centered on the mooring ball. Just a suggestion. I've seen other boaters use this method. Enjoy the day and keep on laughing as you learn. Semper Fi.

  9. Wunderbare Videos. Was mir aufgefallen ist, dass eure Leinen hinten zum am Dock anlegen, viel zu Lang sind – hier wären kürze Leinen besser zu handeln – Gruss Bruno macht weiter so!

  10. Mark @15:35. Never drop chain on top of your anchor. You run the risk of fouling the anchor which is the worst thing as it won't be able to take hold with chain wrapped around it. What that Charter yacht did was perfect. Lay the chain along the bottom just as he did..

  11. Just stunning scenery. You lucky dogs! I have a concern about your steering.
Why does the system have a steering lock? What is it designed to do?
What happens when you are flying down 4 – 6 metre waves (which you will at some stage coming back to NZ) and your steering "Locks"? You won't have the luxury of "turning slowly".
    Please look into it.
Perhaps removing the sensor to stop the locking might be a good safety move? I don't know but please let us all know what the design feature is meant to achieve.

  12. Out of interest what licences/qualifications do/did you need to get to be able to operate a vessel like yours?

Also, that taverna…..reminds me of my grandmother's cooking

  13. Great stuff as usual. I’d recommend switching your Garmins to night mode so you preserve your night vision

  14. Love the channel) i just sailed my 12 meter Princess 388 (1991), from Imperia Italy, to Kaş Turkiye. Quite the journey) and saw a lot of places where you also was). Love the boating life, i am also a beginner.
