I went on MSC Seascape back in May 2024 for the first time and because I didn’t have any status with them I decide to do an upgrade YC interior and ended up with a suite. Best cruise experience I’ve ever had with all those benefits.😊

I have heard that 16019 and 16023 are super noisy near the YC galley. Can you comment on noise levels 3 rooms away are like? Debating whether to try further down the hallway or another level.
We have been on 50+ cruises… last 3 and one coming up in couple of weeks on MSC in yacht club… advice for what it is worth… book the cheapest balcony… usually about $1200 for two… in couple of weeks you get upgrade offer… bid inside at few above minimum and in few weeks you will get a balcony offer in the YC… cost if getting YC as original cabin is about $5800… all of our YC have been about $2500 for two… best bargain on the high seas…
How did you enjoy your room for 7 day? We have a YC interior room booked in two weeks. We’ve done the deluxe suite before and didn’t use the balcony much and this time around, this YC room was $1000 less so we thought we’d give it try. Honestly, I’m not sure I’d like the smaller bathroom. But we will be in YC so we don’t have to fight for lounge chairs so I guess I’d be spending most of my time out of my room.
