Probably my favorite yacht I’ve seen only downside unfortunately is I don’t quite like the single engine factor
great tour. but people like at least a quick glimpse of crew quarters. people like to know crew are cared for I think more than the engine room
An absolutely stunning ship. Just looked it up – to charter this it's $600,000 per week, plus expenses (which, I assume, means gas, food, booze, tips for the 19 crew, and taxes). So let's say it's $1mill for the week. If you have a full complement of 26 guests that's about $40,000 per guest, per week. I"ve GOTTA start hanging out with a better class of people …
The ship looks like the one from your eyes only James bond movie
Very cool.
Thank you.
This is just on another level.
imagination of a man is boundless indeed
I wonder how many shinbones have been absolutely wrecked by those extended bed platforms ? Ask me how I know
Pretty nice boat. Well laid out. Only thing for me, is I would want seating in the bridge to enjoy the sights as we were moving. And to chat with the captain.
How many hours on the main engine?
Great vessel
I like the stripper pole in the master sweet..
the bridge needs a wheel it looks silly without one
True class.
I sailed on her when she was still the Prinses Magriet from the maritime instituinstitute i have some storys 🙂
Definitely stealing some of those cabin layouts and decor for my dream yacht build.
i wub that yatch🥰
If I saw this master cabin on a science fiction space yacht I'd say nah, unbelievable, too big, too splendid
I did my merchant marine training on the Princess Margaret. We did two weeks saling with a stop over on the weekend. Still have fond memories of them. Good to see, she didn't got scrapped and is now a beautifull yacht.
My favorite thing was hearing your children in the background. Mine are grown now- I miss the little versions of them.
Still, every time I want to ask the engineer what he was thinking when planning the ergonomics of the living area. For example, in the 15:03 – 15:06 of the video: let the designer try using the bidet where they placed it. Especially without moving the trash bin.
That's all from me, thanks—I'll continue listening to the praises of this glorious charter vessel.
Another video to remind me what a failure my life has been (so far)!! Let's see what life has in store for me next…
I don't know why the engine has to be so big. My Lamborghini Revulto has over 1,000hp and it's about 1/20th the size of that thing. I reckon my Lambo engine could push that old tub to over 15 knots.
Hi, i m new in town 😄, and this is , for me, the most elegant boat i would like to buy if i could. Thanks a lot for the visit my friend.
Loic
I think 11kn. Is slow if built 2005. Should be 16kn.
I don’t usually like luxury boats, this one is one tasteful renovation, high class
Saw her in vieux fort stlucia this week
If you’d like to find out more about this boat, including chartering her, or want to get in touch with me about anything mentioned in this video: 👉🏻 https://linktr.ee/john_johnson 👈🏻
Wish I had that many davets😂❤
Is it for sale ??
You are so right. It’s a very special ship.
I can see this yacht cruising the maine coast in summer time. What an experience that would be. Loved the boat and thank you for the look around. WOW❤
That use of that word " Explorer" … When she was converted that term wasn't even given any consideration …period !!!
She was converted to a Live aboard Yacht that had Transatlantic range …
What was it before the Dutch use it as a training vessel?
The exterior with all of the deck space is wonderful. It harkens back to the glory days of the transatlantic ocean liners. The pool is also beautiful though small but the sun shades over the different areas are a very nice touch. All of the wood is quite nice and truly tames all of the steel.
The interior design with the mixture of some classic design with odd modern pieces, the low ceilings, strange layouts and wide spaces with not enough to fill it is unfortunately a disappointment. The randomly placed chromed vertical pipping is intrusive and an eyesore. The grand dining room/salon was beautiful and very inviting! I think all of the design energy for the interior was focused on that point and the rest was a bit of an afterthought.
Why is the engine whistling
You lucky lad, what a wonderful yacht.
beautiful ship but that gaudy atrium area seemed like a massive waste of space. And that bar in the center of the interior living area was so awkward. Otherwise this ship is stunning.
I saw a newcastle yacht, 128' and this is too large though the standard workable appearence of the boat and beautiful, ivable interiors. Great boats to explore with.
Brilliant
It surprises me that a ship that size would only have one engine, especially a ship that could cross oceans. I don't think I would feel comfortable without the security of dual engines going that far from shore.
Simple, humble and elegant as any vessel would to be.
Monaco for the formula 1 race, after the canne film festival
Speachless!!!!!!!!!!!
So it was built in 2005 and refitted in 2022. So it was a Navy ship from 2005 until 2022?
