  1. Loved the video. Thanks. As a photographer, I am sometimes approached on the street by people who don't like the idea of being photographed (for some reason they are suspicious of real cameras but not smartphone cameras). It can be a tricky situation to respectfully but forcefully inform them that while out in public everybody is fair game to be photographed (here in America). So, it's not necessarily just a class issue, as suggested in previous comments, but just people trying to assert what they think are their rights. As videographers/photographers it's our duty to kindly inform them of OUR rights. We shouldn't be jerks about it, as that reflects badly on all photographers/videographers. Nicely handled on your part.

  2. Make it a submarine, and park it offshore. You have the money. Otherwise no expectation of privacy when you have a liner-sized yacht in a commercial marina.

  3. 3:24 Our God indeed is a covenant keeping God. Has he said a thing and not perform it? I watch how things unfold in my life, from penury to $356,000 every three months and I can only praise him and trust him more. Hallelujah 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

  4. It's better to always point the camera at things that you're talking about rather than at your face all the time with the stuff you're talking about in the background.

  5. Thanks! I am just puzzled why these yachts would dock that close being that they are so expensive. If I had one I would seek out better spot or pay for 2 spots. Pricey but like you say, just a drop in their large bucket.

  6. Since ships use water for ballast & that water contains marine life native to that location, why not recirculate the water in the ballast tanks as you are under way? This way you are continuously changing the ballast & not bringing invasive marine life with you. It wouldn't affect the amount of ballast since the level would be maintained in the tanks. Could even use the same pumps etc. that are used to fill the tanks.

  7. Katara is in Monaco because the Emirs family- mother and father etc are at their house in Mougins atm.

  8. Good video! I had to laugh at some of the comments. Some guy with a massive boat, very ostentatious slides into Monaco screaming ‘Don’t Look At Me!!!’ Sometimes people aren’t thinking. There’s a lot to see in Monaco, in the water and out. The boat is interesting but the owner? Who? Nah, not so much. Stand down, men.

  9. That was the nicest possible way to start my day; viewing your vlog of Monaco, her superyachts and of course the dressage events. Thanks eSysman!!

  10. I find that really amusing..It happened on one occasion during my career as a pilot that we'd completed a freight operation into Brussels, it was a night stop and they parked us up alongside AirForce One as whoever was the president back then was on a State visit.. Needless to say, we wanted photographs of our aircraft together with AF 1 and were standing back with our cameras clicking away when two very serious security guards hurried over, one with a large German Shepherd, we were told in no uncertain terms that it was forbidden to take photos of AF1.. I couldn't help but start laughing.. .. Hey guys.. this is the most photographed aircraft on the planet ! But, these guys were trained not to think or question, just obey.

  11. You have the same amount of life rafts on each side of the vessel. That means if one side cannot launch there is space for everyone on board.

  12. are you kidding me? a long time ago a beautiful german made yacht sailed into our little port town of port aux basques and they let us take as many pics and videos as we wanted, whoever owns that yacht….get over yourself your not that special.

  13. That is a public harbour. You and anyone is allowed to film there. If those arabs and other owners do not like it they can leave Monaco.

  14. As a "street photographer" you should carry a yellow ticket that explains to the reader that their objections have no legal basis or validity. In general, in Western societies/jurisdictions.
If you go abroad, verify what applies there.

Anything in public space, anything visible from public space (at least with the naked eye), can be photographed without permission. People have no title to object against being photographed. They can have a temper tantrum, but that should not impress you.
While this is also based in freedom of press and news gathering, in my country there is an option for people who have been photographed, to object against publication. This would require a special high-speed court case where the judge must agree with the matter's urgency before the trial. The essence is that a "reasonable personal interest would be damaged/harmed". Without such a case the photographer by default has the right to publish and needs no consent. In recent decades, some countries may have made an exception when minors (children) are involved. But rendering a child's face unrecognisable may be enough in that case.

The question is what laws apply in Monaco. Considering the magistrates in the legal system are French, the differences with France will be small.

  15. Thank you for your filming no matter what security says to to you my great friend 😊
You do such outstanding work on background of these vessels ( ships) it bothers me that security doesn't want your views to see the outstanding vessels those two side davet tenders are just amazing.

  16. One of my favorite motor yachts in Monaco is Wedge Too, the first yacht designed by Philippe Starck. Saw it in 2003 then 2007 while doing a Med Season.

  17. crazy world one has no food to support his family other they don't know what to do with the money how about to help some ppl ?
