He's going to need to wear a "I built this $hit myself" shirt from Cleetus when he's captaining this thing.
are you adding any kind of "crown" to the flat areas to promote water shed from rain, swimming, spillage of beverages, etc….
Didn't think you need coast guard certification for a private boat
White PVC is for plumbing, not electrical. You should be using gray Sch. 80 for any exposed electrical conduit
Should have put the PVC on the inside support of that toon to hide it more.
The build is going fast. The PonYacht seems terribly underpowered for its size. Guess that leaves room for future videos/upgrades!
You said little wood lol
Almost too late but I wouldnt be using the White PVC water pipe for wiring. That stuff gets brittle and falls apart after a few years in the sun. The grey electrical conduit is made for that and has better fire resistance. Its under the deck so you might be okay. But the grey stuff isnt much more.
If you don't build this the way I want you to, I will not step foot on it.
extremely important! I am not a structural engineer, but an architect, but I see a big problem in the fact that you have provided good longitudinal rigidity in the metal structure, but there is no stability in the transverse direction! It is necessary to add connections in the transverse direction (along the width of the yacht)! I hope this will help avoid problems in the future.
Can't wait to watch this shit show hit the water.
Conduit suggestion, If you replace the Tee with a Cross and use a threaded plug on the outside it will make fishing wires a lot easier
Pushing wires through these junctions will be nightmare without access. Telecommunications ducting is main example.
“B is for Bontoon” … “B is for Barge” … “B is for Bargetoon”!
GL trying to fish wire through that 90deg.
Sinks should just drain overboard
Are you calling into question the pontoon welds onto back of hot tub? How dare you! Haha
Hate to say this, but if you go for "LONG LASTING FLOOR" you should have painted the underside of it to keep it sealed for good
I’m curious, will this be a Guinness work record sized pontoon boat ?. Look into it guys, you might be breaking records here. 👍🏻
Do you know what i think is a shame all those really really cool cars just sitting in the background gathering dust.
That Texas tugs thing is wild, as a boatie I can tell you that would be such an amazing relief to know. Never even knew that was a thing. Good job
looks good, that sheet under the tub where buddy was standing looks like it could use some more wields, was flexing a bit.
Is this one gonna sink? Did the sinking of the last one pay for this one?😢
Huge mistake with waste water tank. Soap, salt etc. will corrode aluminium in no time. It has to be made of plastic. That tank is a waste of time.
Overall height? Is it going to fit out the garage door? Enjoying the series just like all the rest!
You have the BEST music on youtube
Man this is coming out professionally
Hopefully there aren't any baffles in the fuel cell.
No one's going to mention the teeny inlet for the black water tank? That's blocking, a lot.
For insurance check with Hagerty insurance.
For your decking on your "long seams" you should have used all excess or cutoffs to create cribbing and screw then under the seam. This will increase strength, and the glue would actually be effective. What you did with rubber is just going wick water into your carpet glue.
Why do you yanks call it a bathroom? You ain’t going to fit no bath in there! 😂
“I’m not sure if we’re going to stagger all 3…I am sure that we are not going to stagger all 3.” 😂😂😂
You don't need a homemade boat Coast guard "certified". Only manufacturers do. We've put a few homemade boats on the water. Just got back from Neah Bay with one.
👍
50 gallons is only 10-15 bathroom used by a man and 1 by a female.
You could do a water divert and have the engines heat the water for the hottub when you need it. 😎👌
License it in Washington. All you need is receipts of materials. They issue a title.
Put RGB light around the boat edge
