You forgot to mention that Aga Khan IV is also an owner and breeder of racehorses. He also was the owner of the racehorse Shergar who infamously disappeared, allegedly stolen by the Provisional Irish Republican Army.

A little correction on Prince Albert of Monaco. The story goes that he met swimmer Charlene Wittstock at a swim competition in Monaco in 2000, but it was brief. He then had an illegitimate son with an Air France flight attendant from Togo in 2003. When Prince Albert's father died in 2005 and he came to the throne, Charlene contacted Albert again to send her condolences and they started dating. In the 2006 Olympics in Torino, Italy, she went as his date, which is the photo you showed of them in winter clothes watching the games and smiling. She never made it to any more Olympics as an athlete but did become Albert's girlfriend, undergoing lots of dental work and plastic surgery, and getting married in 2011. Their twins were born in 2014 and they all attended the opening ceremony in Paris 2024. Albert has a large collection of all the Olympic flame holders for the past few decades, and he puts them on free exhibition in Monaco or the host city at each Olympic games. He & Charlene were two of the many flame carriers when the flame passed through Monaco earlier this month.
I was going to say you left off George VI, father of Queen Elizabeth II. However, George played tennis in 1926 at Wimbledon, and he opened the 1948 London Olympics but didn't compete in them. When you go to the Wimbledon museum, he is mentioned.
Love your content!
23:34 Um, I don't think Haya's son was the one convicted considering he wasn't born until 2012 lol. It would've been her husband's son from his first marriage. Also, Nathalie isn't a Danish princess, she's a Princess of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleberg.
I was wondering when you plan to create a video featuring the portrayal of Harold Wilson from 'The Crown' show.
Well done. And I really like that you also mention non-european royals.
LOVE this! Please do a video on the worlds fair one day!
Natalie is princess of sayn wittgeintein berlburg, not of Denmark
You left off the greatest Royal/Olympic crossover moment of all time – Queen Elizabeth parachuting into the opening ceremonies of the London Olympic games. It was hilarious! Almost as good as tea time with Paddington Bear.
Didn't King George VI compete in tennis pairs?
Marie Antoinette being symbolized at the Paris games is now even more interesting, considering the games were almost revitalized but it was halted for the revolution. Knowing and understanding history adds so much context.
Because Olympics is become a magnetic symbol that attracting various men and women to prove themselves who is the strongest , fastest and highest
Thank you.
It interchanges with summer and winter so technically it's every 2 years for us. lol
Nathalie is not a Danish princess, but a Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg
princess.
Amazingly thorough video. Thank you so much!
Princess Merida vibes
I was imagining that it was queen Victoria on pole vault.
Hi Lindsay can you do a series for GCSE history for American west and medicine through time . I have been struggling with it and detailed videos could really help thanks. !
It is time to return to the original roots of these spirited games. Off with the clothes and back to naked!¡!!!!!
Princess Anne is such an inspiration
Princess albert is so unlikable it’s actually funny how out of touch he is 😩 he has so many kids out of wedlock too lol
I object mylud ! Hieron was most definitely a tyrant, NOT a king.
Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg is tecnically not princess of Denmark but of Berleburg. Her father was prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg. That is where she gets her title from even though her mother is princess of Denmark. Titles are not inherieted through the female line.
Harald V is my favorite story!!!
You said Charlene name wrong
Hi Lindsay! Love love loveee your videos 🙂 Could you possibly make a video about indigenous land in the Americas (& around the world) before and after colonization? I’ve always wanted to learn more about this topic and I’m curious how much it relates back to royal history as well! Thank you <3
Phillip I of Macedonia!! M A C E D O N I A…not "Macedon"!!
Great video keep it up you're doing amazing things 😁👍
THANKS FOR YOUR FANTASTIC AND SUPERB CONTENT!
