  1. Or what you could do is do a small weld on the corners and then send it down and it should give a nice rounded corner no sharp corner and then nothing that kid possibly fall off or you have to replace

  2. Maybe we can name it Black Sheep because pontoon boats might not be considered yacht Worthy so it could be the black sheep of the yacht family LOL

  3. I have to ask, with the carpet there, if it's keep getting wet and soaked, isn't going to smell bad? Or it will not because it's always under the sun? Meaning it keep dry out and air out.

  4. Yeah you definitely still need at least one support bar under that sheet metal. Thats aluminum which as you know is soft metal. 1/8 in is not “big boy” metal either. It’s your boat but the quality is lacking

  5. I want to see the shins and forearms of your passengers after their waterlogged skin scrapes that swim deck. Use overlapping vinyl rub rail on those edges!!! Also, use a round radius on the corners or, at least, 45 the corners. Even for docking, those 90d corners will/could punch holes in other vessels.

  6. Consider applying SeaDek to the exterior of the motor boxes. It is tolerate of the sun and water and will add some deadening to reduce resonance from the large vibrating panels.

  7. After watching the episode of you building the swim deck, I realized you may have overlooked an important safety design. The slots you insert the legs of the deck have no lock feature to prevent the legs from slipping out of the slots due to vibrations and the expected motions of a boat on water. I suggest a rod placed on the ends of the legs to prevent movement inside the slots. Love the project so far. Been a subscriber for 4 or more years now.
