Very murky story…..
must be nice to have a yacht. good thing they're safe
Stinks of Robert Maxwell…go search!
Kiwis have Superpowers eh Bro! Eh Sis or Eh Anyone
Omg scary
Did this yacht have a retractable keel? Find it amazing that it capsized and losing the mast would have brought the centre of gravity down quite considerably. If it indeed had a retractable keel and that keel was in the raised position, it would have have a big effect on the yachts stability.
Comes around goes around jani
Even the rich cant escape death
tech billionaire gone
Am in the UK and surprised the journo on here uses the term 'Ki-wi' to describe certain people – wonder how long that term will last before it gets withdrawn as not being PC
How does a yacht that big sink in port in a thunderstorm. Unheard of .
the chef was a chief in NZ
What do you mean broken mast and it fell over
Celebrating your court win only to die..should have stayed on land!
Rainbow Warrior Mark II.
VERY SUSPICIOUS.

No mention of Johnatan bloomer.
wow
wow… far out….
Waiting for the chef to wash up
The luxury superyacht looks beautiful, but not worth a damn in bad weather sinking at a protected anchorage. Like his company, the luxury superyacht was overvalued for handling in rough weather.
A sailboat’s tall mast must be counterbalance in the keel of the sailboat. A dismasted sailboat’s center of gravity will be lower and closer to the waterline making it hard to capsize.
Sailboats don’t “capsize” because the mast “snaps off”. At anchor the boat would actually become more stable. Probably more rolling but with the weight aloft now gone, the ballast in the keel has less force to balance against. It would have much more of what’s called “righting moment”. In other words the boat is now much heavier at its lowest point, and much less at its highest point, making its “righting moment” much more powerful.
Billionaires that are at the centre of fraud cases (even if they win) then immediately go missing is always going to set the conspiracy theories ablaze
The water spout once full of water unlike a tornado that has an upward force has a downward force. If it was to come in contact with the sailing ship near the mast then it would push the vessel down on one side now bringing the mast in contact with the downward force of the spout. If unluckily the spouts route was now along the mast it would start to exercise more and more force as the spout made it's way along the mast. At some point as the spout got closer to the end of the mast the leverage factor would of given the spout with it's downward force the advantage and pinned the mast to the sea's surface and possible snapping it in two but not lightning they are designed to with stand lightning strikes and was struck before without incidence . Lying on her side she would of taken on a substantial amount of water and wouldn't of been able to right herself, either due to her design, windows being blown out by the force of the water spout doors or hatches not fully secured or a combination of all three.
There are no accidents anymore, just conspiracies.
Gave it such a big mask so they can charge a couple more million for the yacht
..So his VP gets run over by a car and killed only a couple of days earlier, now Mike Lynch is missing and also on board was a chairman of Morgan Stanley Investment Bank that is also missing… There were two boats close together, so one – a state of the art 56 meter yacht gets completely destroyed by the 'water spout' and the other boat near by , is completely unharmed. It could have been a set of completely freakish events, but logic contests otherwise…
Its a right ole bummer when I drove my Pink Rolls Royce right off the edge of a sheer cliff. Fortunately my auto eject parachute worked fine but my driver Parker and my dear lady friend Lady Penelope were smashed to smithereens on the rocks below. I really must get the insurance papers in now and pick out a new colour for my next Rolls, Fab6.2.0 I think the Hood is behind it.
Wouldnt furniture or the mast be floating maybe someone didnt want to part w his yacht but fake his death
So sad.
Something doesn’t add up.
I just saw on a news feed one of the survivors was interviewed and she said a giant octopus attacked the boat which caused the waves ect as it was massive, she went on to say there was unicorns flying above the boat blowing trumpets and when they where in the life raft a 10 foot alien was observing them !! Strangely the interview has disappeared! I’m gutted
There’s no way all aboard weren’t woken to be in the salon, out of their cabins with weather that bad…. the most basic safety measures seem to have been bypassed!!??
So much respect to the woman with the baby she kept alive, that had to be so scary
Meh, rich people. They have spent centuries killing the poor yet I am meant to feel bad when things go wrong while they play on their expensive toys. pffft.
Wow, lady, uncanny valley.
What a joke no life jackets
