13. I saw your video short on the carbon fiber propellers. Have you looked at the Sharrow propellers for range, efficiency and low noise? That is what I plan to swap out when I get my SY 60.

14. Love Silent Yachts but the interior styling is going downhill. The Silent 60 interior was classic and will have greater longevity compared to the 62 which looks like the interior of a mid-range boutique hotel. Example: the headboards of the beds, which already seem dated

15. Didn't this company go bankrupt? The founders instead of knowing their limitations decided to run the company themselves instead of hiring someone who knows what they're doing and ran the company to the ground

17. Make it in aluminum. Because this is not at all environmentally friendly with these batteries and solarpanels and all the plastic and crap. With aluminium, you become much more environmentally friendly and durable far beyond the 30 years you are building for now.

18. That yacht is simply extraordinary!! I'd love to see more specs on day to day as well as passages. Does the solar keep up, how much is the generator used with day to day life on the yacht? What would a kite do for an ocean crossing, Can the batteries run a SCUBA compressor, etc, etc. If they have a spare they'd like me to test out for a few years to get these answers, I can be available. 😁

19. As the costs of solar and batteries go down and 3D printing continues to handle larger objects, building a yacht like this will get much cheaper over the next few decades. What costs $2 million now might be half that or even less in ten years.

My thoughts,,, chrome or mirror polish those ugly black posts so they 'disappear', the captain and his mate need a proper upper helm seat from which to enjoy their purchase, extend the upper roof over the sun pad to add more solar or replace sun pad with solar, and consider some slide out extra solar panels using large slide/drawer mechs (when conditions permit) and finally, get the interior dining table to slide or lower so you can turn the rear seating into a comfy motorised reclining lounge to watch a large TV opposite. I only suggest these things because I'm in love 🤩

22. Very nice, but I'm still waiting for the submersible version with double-sided solar panels, 6MW micro turbine main power and auxiliary hydrogen fuel cells.

33. Like the video. The beat in the music is really distracting and irritating.

34. People knock these yachts because of the gen set, but most of the time you're at anchor and not using any fuel at all. And when you do go somewhere you burn way less diesel than any other yacht. What's not to love here???
