1. What do you think about the diver's heartbreaking story? Could this tragedy have been avoided?

2. With no openable portholes or windows, the vessel was equipped with a robust HVAC system. The ventilation for the yacht was accomplished through a series of vents along the sides of the vessel, near the top edge. Ordinarily, these vents would be open, but they could be closed in an emergency – like stormy weather that could cause the boat to heel over so much that they could become submerged and start flooding the interior.

   It is plausible that the ventilation system becoming submerged was the primary reason the vessel sank. And, if the boat heeling over so much was caused by a downburst or waterspout, there would have been little warning to the crew to secure those vents.

   This is what was speculated by a former captain of the Bayesian who was her skipper for about six years.

4. It looks awfully close to the water!!! I think it might have been designed to sit in shallow water!!! The mast
   was outlandish!!! It's not attractive to be a luxurious yacht! It seems that it was not built to sustain the
   force of nature!!! May all those who lost their lives, live in the brightness of Heaven forever, Amen!!!

5. The boat had a large opening that must have led to a sub 5 minute sinking. What opening can allow such a torrent of water to cause total loss of buoyancy so quick that 8 people couldn't save themselves, even if they were asleep when it stated taking on water.

11. Imagine a lever and it's labelled "Retractable Keel" or something and one way it says up and the other way says down. Show us how hard it would have been to lower the keel.

13. Io sono una Medium Italiana e ho ricevuto messaggi precisi di Hanne Linch, Bette (Elizabeth Judith Bloomer), Mike Linch e quello è stato un naufragio avvenuto per sabotaggio. I messaggi che queste vittime mi hanno mandato sono addiaccianti, seppur precisi, dettagliati nei minimi particolari (…)! Un equipaggio? No! Prezzolati con un unico compito: affondare il Bayesian e il suo armatore.

14. If the lifting Keel was in the raised position then the Yacht would become very unstable in bad /severe weather,causing it to heel more than normal and allow the ingress of water through engine and ACU vents. With the keel raised then the righting moment is drastically reduced.

15. So brutal was the storm that a mother still had no problem saving her 1 year old in open sea until rescue came.
