The season is going full steam this week as we sail along the Cote D'Azur. The crew did a fantastic job with this charter, delivering the guests a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Thank you, as always, for watching. If you haven't already done so, head to our website to get yourself Loon Crew Merchandise, and check out our Patreon for more insides and behind the scenes with the Loon crew.
See you next week 🛥😎
No tip this time? It’s always fun to know how you did!
As soon as my uncle Lottery gives me an inheritance, Loon and I are going to have a date! I can't wait to try chef Nina's meals. Love your videos and thanks for all the hard work to share!
Get a bearing/ location of the light if you can and report them!! That is not a childish prank it can cause serious vision problems as you noticed. A lot of countries have laws about people doing such things. If it is being done at night, it just may be being done during daylight which will make the light very hard to see. As a precaution, glasses are made to protect a person from laser light. Maybe get some for the bridge as a precaution.
Trevion Alley
Couldn’t you report laser issue to harbour master for local police action
Xmina hoooot! ❤🔥
This has been said many times before and will be said many times hereafter, but Steve is knocking it out of the park with these videos.
Easy charter for the chefs 😂😂
Did any crew get to try the gatorade jello shots?!
I wondered if you would see the TdF. Super cool that you caught it!
The "We should do a baguette fight" cut to "whack-whack-whack" and then cut to the water is chef's kiss
Another great video everyone keep up the amazing job that all of you do I can’t wait for the next video now I have to wait until next Sunday that’s too long we need videos like that 2 times a week 🤞please captain Paul?lol I love you guys John from south jersey in the USA the good part of the state lol 😆
glad you found the laser twat , but I wouldn't have hung around too long ,laser can kill your camera sensor very easily .
Reminds me on trip to Rhodes )
Love your videos, but what is going to happen once Loon is getting sold? Are you guys staying or will the new owner decide? 🤞🤞🤞
What a place. What a charter. What a chef(Go Nina).
Hope they get that person with the laser. Some folks are so stupid.
I would love to charter Loon but I can't afford it though.
Nice to re-live us crossing your path in the bay of Villefranche by watching this beautiful video. We basically live Paul’s retirement plan on a comfortable 17m sailing yacht sailing the same waters without crew, watching your videos to keep inspired and learn from the pro’s, thanks! Ernst & Saskia S/Y Petite Lune. PS Paul can come test what post work life is all about anytime😉
Never heard of club sancon sanc 😂
The weather, the location, the food and the fun. Simply perfect! 🎉
So the laser came from "Plage des pêcheurs" Found it on google maps. A public beach. Bet you could have gotten one of the managers at the adjacent restaurant to get a pic of them. Let us know how it turns out.
So why don’t you radio the authorities kind of know the direction they’re in and have them goin😊 stop doing it
Small question – when you guys are doing your post charter wrap-up, you have Courtney next to you which makes sense as she's the Chief Stew, but why is Nina next to her facing the crew? Is it a rank thing or is it because she's in charge of the kitchen (so you have deck, inside, and food represented)?
Epic video again!! Very impressive boat landing on the foil thingy Captain!!
Love from Mary in Southern California 💗
I may be a grumpy old man that has considered purchasing Loon and are very, very impressed with the professionalism and impressive attention to detail that frankly surprises me but I really, really don't like seeing childish crew behaviour.
Yes fun is OK but Capt Paul should always demand and and insist on professionalism, safety first. I think that it is dumb and irresponsible to video silly behaviour. One bad incident compromises 20, 30 good things! Impressions count!
We have all seen an episode of "Below decks" arrant nonsense but we've also seen Bayesian sink killing most of the guests.
A superyacht like Loon is wonderful but as a floating resort hotel there are inherent risks if the crew are not 100% professional and attentive to detail.
At the same time, I'd view crew off-duty as the same as guests, fully entitled to use the best of the boat but on duty, totally pro or don't stay on the boat.
Loons front hydraulic storage compartments are wild. That takes up alot of loons space from the looks of it. It would be interesting to see those compartments in more detail.
That's great idea having one day crew and guest dinner party. I think that ties up the loon experience well and puts personal touch on things.
Why no tip talks anymore? That was always so interesting to see! 🥳
Very nice video though. The videos keep on getting better even though they are already at a very high quality.
You guys have not been disclosing the gratutity lately… ???
I am "a little bit older" now but I would definitely get on that wake foil and would definitely appreciate the add on. Your landing is spectacular though. I would not have the guts to do that one. We used to spend our summers on wake boards pulled behind boats. I got excited watching you on the wake foil!
That horn prank is cruelty 😂
Hope the fool with the laser doesn’t procreate.
At the moment I think I can afford approx 0.003s of charter time. Where can I book?
Much love to you all from me and Liz in Norfolk, UK x
Capt Paul, Did the local authorities catch the laser clown?
Hey great videos. Obviously the way you edit them makes them popular. I'd like to see a more technical edit that focuses on the engineers and systems, and not cutting to music when they do their actual work. Maybe another channel or just a tech video.
What a nice crew you have Capt. Paul! Everyone seems to have such a positive vibe about them. I really enjoy watching these videos
Wow, I hope you guys got that laser bro stopped. Also, big ups to Nina, that sushi night menu looked super! And Captain Paul looked great on the foil…
I can't imagine my wife and i affording a cruise on MY Loon, thanks for letting us get a look at the life aboard
4 commercial breaks is a little much
Another beautiful video! Loved seeing the BBQ set up at the end. So fun x
I love you Paul!
What is going to happen when LOON gets sold
I Love this channel. I work in film/tv production and you all are now making episodes on par with the best reality shows on television. Keep it up!! If I might offer some constructive criticism on safety: the laser pointer thing is totally messed up and I hope this stops people from doing it. But, I should point out that as much as I wanted to see one of the guys fall off the bow (!) the dB/SPL of a ship's horn (don't know how loud Loon's is – and I know it's just a short burst) can be as damaging to the ears as a laser pointer to the eyes, perhaps more so cumulatively. Sorry for the call out, I know how fun it is to mess with the crew!
What an amazing video… hope ur eyes are ok from the Green Light on Antibes Beach… I hope the authorities found the person.. food looked 1st class and the restaurants looked lovely on shore.. great drone work…
Where’s my new video??
Hello Loonies, so did anything happen about the idiot with the laser pointer?
Question, I just stayed 2 weeks at Pampelonne beach, and saw the yachts leaving every afternoon to go back the the gulf of Saint-Tropez, and turn up the following morning again to Pampelonne, why is that? I assume this is because there are more boats at the gulf of Saint-Tropez, but let’s ask it directly to you 😉
it would be nice to know how much the guests leave as a tip at the end, like belowdeck. beautiful video congratulations 🤩
I do enjoy YouTube. I have been watching vids of the popular Sailing Channels. Sailing Doodles adds @lost_lauryn. I follow a few of her vids… then I get @thecrewchef. Then I find the Loon Channel. I have been a cerified diver for years. Took a few vids to find the link of Loon th Scuba Pro.
how do you get fresh water to wash down the water gear and boat deck etc?
