Give Charlie some kudos! Wagner and steak. A great combination! And yeas, butter is good for searing the steak.
Your camera works makes me sea sick……………………………..
Hate to break it to ya “Capt” but that ain’t no container ship…
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Nice job all the way around Captain.
Algiers lock is always busier than Harvey lock with commercial traffic.
Never did this trip but thanks for the great bits of info, would love to send my cv if you ever need help, I live in Tampa Bay Beach area! Keep up the great videos!
Have you ever done US thru Panama Canal, and or possibly ever interested if I get one? Thanks Cap, great video, and definitely need a special dictionary for the language there, it’s crazy, I have a great friend from there another captain and I can’t understand a word he says!
Don’t forget Port Isabel , barge dropped our causeway , they said the strong north wind pushed it into the bridge
You can just about see my boat from where you docked at Seabrook. This was great info as I hope to be taking my boat in the opposite direction before too long. Thanks!
Houma pronounced hoo ma or who ma …J/S
Rigo-lees is how we pronounce it.
I'd like to see the navionics or whatever navigation course plot. Great video Skipper.
LOVE the layout of this tug!
Charlies foot and toes would make a good anchor. Ha.
I'm in Seabrook. Welcome.
Hit up Saltgrass Steak House in Adjacent city of Kemah.
nice editing !
gotta have butter charlie
Just looking at all the past hurricane damage as you're passing through the industrial areas in NOLA
This would have been great if the camera had been giving us the surroundings instead of focused on the captain during potentially interesting points, like entering the locks. Too much of just watching the captain talk on the radio or verbalize where they are and what they are seeing. Camera off the captain and on the surroundings would make this a subscribe. On the more positive side, at least when the camera was on the captain it was steady.
I saw ya’ll Saturday passing through Port Sulphur, La on the intracoastal.
Rig-ah-lees
You were docked about 1/4 mile from my house in Houma.
One of your clips where off and had me all confused trying to map where a train crossed the ICW by houma 😂😂
What’s a lock?
As a x Crue boat captain for Seacore Marine I’ve had my share locks and skinny water. Biggest problem where the Shrimp boats wakes, outriggers lowered and , no response to radio calls.
I’ve worked and stayed in Houma, LA many times. I used to stay at what was called the Holiday Inn Holidome, or some such. This was back in the ‘90’s. I liked that town, though. River Cajuns are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They don’t take any crap, though. I love Louisiana.
There is a harbor dock about 6 miles up the Avery Canal in Delcambre La fuel food and North Pier Marina Great Dockage
Haveen never watched this sort of show. Thoroughly enjoyed the adventure.
Enjoyed riding along! Very interesting job you have! You’re good at it!
Rig-oh-lees. No clue if it's right, but that's how we say it!
I was born and raised in Houma that’s how
bayou people are we try to take care of one another glad you had a good stay
Port Arthur Texas is in my neck of the woods. I was born there and live about 20 miles from their now. Still fish there in the ICW and Sabine Lake and Sabine Pass Area. Stumbled on your video and enjoyed it very much. Thank You and Charlie for the entertainment and enlightenment !
Rigolets pronounce Rig o leze. Enjoyed the video
Shouldn't be an issue getting an uber in Gulfport. I used to uber there. Every other car is an uber.
Hello Captain,I just happened by Your channel.I’m very impressed with your videos,I think I’m going to watch more of them.
Enjoyed this very much be safe Captian
A little out of order but great video. Houma – Berwick – ICY
I wish they would they us how the locks they work.
Houma- making groceries 😂. As a Chicago born bred and raised and living down by Houma now, it’s nice to see people like Tito. There are not a lot of dependable people around this neck of the woods.
Get your foot off the dash. How would you like if someone just kicked their bare feet up on the dash of your vehicle with your permission?
I wish Charlie’s sexy goofy self had a channel! ❤ from Knoxville ,TN!
Rigolets is pronounced rig-o-lees by locals
you should show more of what's going on outside instead of a video of you.
