1. We went Alcudia in May 2005 and it was freezing. We hired a car and went to Palma Nova where it was about 10 degrees warmer. Cretes the same, North coast chilly breeze til mid June.

   My husband was robbed twice on our holiday .

9. I prefer the emerald coast in southern Nicaragua, San Juan del sur area. Cvheck out bosques Del Mar.. Mallorcas is crowded and expensive Plus, Nicaragua has better fishing

10. Had the worst vacation on Mallorca. Terrible weather and very rude people. Wouldn’t even go there if they payed me to visit the island. We now always go to the Canary Islands (if we visit an island in Europe). Tenerife is my favourite because of the green mountains in the north.

11. I went to alcudia in 2022 in may and it was my first holiday abroad I loved it the water is so warm and shallow

12. The Alcudia strip is a run down shithole. It needs serious redevelopment. NOW the beach front is beautiful and definitely where you'd want to stay

15. The alsion days have gone in Majorca, prices have gone through the roof, tourist taxes added, anti tourism sentiment by the Spanish detering holiday makers. Balearic tax makes Majorca elitist. Give it a miss it is not worth paying the premium.

18. Im in Alcudia right now with my gf, amazing place for vacation/relax but as you said the food is nothing special, just basic tourist stuff.

21. Were a married couple, late 30s and 40. Wed like a kind of ""strip"" area, with loads of bars and restaurants, would that suit this area.?

23. Yes cala d’or is an amazing place to stay if your idea of travelling is seeing only british and germans and eat at restaurants that are shit 😂

24. Very interesting and informative video. For anyone visiting Cala d’or I would strongly recommend taking in the marina area which is surrounded by many fine restaurants. I would also thoroughly recommend a visit to the beautiful Cala Mondrago beach and nature reserve which is around 30 minutes away by public bus from Cala D’or. Wherever you go you’ll love it!❤
