  1. Are you going to FLIBS?!! I should have asked for some big lux catamaran vids at cannes but if you go to FLIBS and see any sweet cats try to get on them!!!

  2. I saw Denison's video on this last night and I thought the name was fake. Done as in Doge coin. This reminds me of the first version of the CdM Flexplorer.

  3. As soon as you entered the salon, I saw what I expected; an Ikea showroom… Extremely sterile and cheap looking; the furniture was kinda cool though… Walking down the stairs to the guest cabins looked like you were walking into a blizzard… I had to fast forward to the crew quarters and engine room

  4. The lack of colour makes it look more like a hospital ship and the furniture look like they have come straight from a IKEA store, the only decent thing I can say about this yacht is it has a good layout and great mileage.

  5. Hey Tony, nice OceanKing very minimalistic just enough to want to do some decor here and there to make it look really nice. I see you sporting a European look (Hair and Beard) :)..keep the good work

  6. The only impressive thing about this yacht is its range. Too minimalist, too austere, too cheap looking, the designer has no imagination. Even the presenter was struggling in his commentary to sound enthusiastic.

  7. Alright Tony hope you're OK,a great find and tour sir of a very stunning sexy looking yacht. As for the interiors I'd do mine (I wish) very differently but I don't dislike the way this owner as furnished his/hers yacht unlike some in the comments. As for the cabin question I'd tend to go with 6 cabins if room allows it's purely for options.Overall the look and options on this yacht affords is great, the ability for plenty of toys is top for me. Anyway all the best from Cornwall🤗🖖👍

  8. Thanks Tony, excellent tour of what appears to be a very capable, comfortable yacht. The engine room was impresssive – looks like very easy access to engines and generators. There appears to be a little overkill of tender/toy storage – you could store two good-sized ribs plus several jet skis, kayaks etc. on the aft deck alone. But there is also a toy garage on the foredeck and a tender garage in the beach club. Comfortable crew area – all cabins have separate showers, and there is sitting space in the crew mess for the entire crew. The huge cold storage room would be incredibly valuable on a trans-ocean voyage. Seems like a good, mid-size explorer yacht.

  9. Another fantastic tour of yet another stunning yacht. You did a great job showing us all the features of this explorer yacht. It was nice catching a glimpse of Victoria from the NautiStyles channel. I hope at some point in time you get to tour their yacht after it's launched.

  10. Hi Tony,
I would like to share some thoughts on this one.
    1. Thanks for making the efforts to bring this vessel to us!
    2. I think one can tell that there is a tendency to interpret a contemporary designing as to be more clean and that clean design again can be misinterpreted as a minimalistic-reduced realisation (at least in some cases); because clean doesn't have to mean a less refined/sophisticated execution.
    3. I think this one is surely not very much about refinement of fit and finishing, more just exactly an example of what I was talking in 2., but I think these comments | read, considering a comparison with IKEA fitting, are far away from what is presented. Also not really my taste, but at least a basic „superyacht-quality-appearance".
    4. To your question: I would agree, that 5 staterooms mostly provide more generous rooms and layout.
    5. The yachts I personally consider to be most impressive are these „quality-and-refinement-wonders" out of the halls of Heesen and co. …from my point of view likely too much money for a funtoy (even if I could afford one), but most impressive nonetheless. 😉

    Greetings from Germany

  11. Even though it's not completed, if i commissioned this vessel I'd only add a couple of extra things, as an explorer yacht you're likely to come across rough conditions once in a while so the less furniture and ornaments rattling the better, u like it clean and simple, one thing I'm not a big fan are the lower windows almost at sea level for an explorer, there's tons of stuff floating in the ocean and all it takes is one good whack and well let's just say it's not going to be nice, Other than that, nice areas, impressed by the crew spaces we've seen in Tony's channel other vessel's that are not this friendly with the crew

  12. I think you miss the part where there's a hidden dayhead right behind that big TV at the main dining area/saloon. Thanks for the tour tony.

  13. This is a fabulous vessel Tony. I sneaked a peak at the specs before watching the video and was very excited to see the range. For me, the trip is the holiday, the destination is a bonus. So long and slow would be perfect. The boat had plenty of indoor/outdoor places where 10 guests could have fun together but also enough space to be separate if they wanted too. I really liked that there was day head on every level, especially the sun deck. A "party" deck without a loo seems a bit silly. I understand that with smaller boats it's not feasible but it's amazing how many larger boats don't have them. Having one in the beach club makes a lot of sense too. Thanks for sharing this one Tony.

  14. "And with the steel hull, you have obviously your water makers onboard" – What does the steel hull have to do with the watermakers?

  15. Probably no way to hide the massive hydraulic loading arm aft as was true forward in the bow area. Have so much interior space aft that opens down below the water line is more than a bit unnerving as well so think I would begin with any safety features in the aft section as has the look anyways in current for of something that is made for oil drilling work. Verdict: "she's a gusher, Captain abandon Ship!" 😊😊

  16. But how can it be, that there is such a big colour difference between the teak of the cockpit and the teak of the beach club? Certainly regarded to the different time periods each area is faced by the sun, but when it’s brand new?!

  17. It has a great layout but not my taste in wall finishes I am a fan of having wood touches in interior areas, the crew area is so lacking in style I would not want to crew there no style colour etc, cold feeling.

  18. Not having a go at you, but so tired of BS fuel figures and range. No way this vessel with TWIN 1450Hp would achieve anywhere near 7000 NM range. This vessel has a 55,000 litre fuel capacity. Just ONE of the main engines in this vessel would chew through:

Low RPM (~1000 RPM) – At lower ranges, like idle or light cruising, the engine will consume typically, around 50-100 L/h

Medium RPM (Cruise speed, around 1800-2000 RPM) – At a moderate load, cruising speed consumption often sits between 150-250 L/h. This is also where many engines are optimized for fuel efficiency.

High RPM (Maximum power, 2300 RPM) – At or near full throttle, consumption will be at its peak, often in the range of 350-450 L/h.

Since we have two main engines (dont forget we are not factoring in generators running) lets do the math:
    Low RPM lets say 100 LPH X 2 = 200 Litres per hour / fuel capacity 55,000 litres / assume 7 knots – 55K divided by 200 X 7 = 1,925 nautical miles range
Burning 150 LPH (75LPH each engine) your range is 2,567 nautical miles

To achieve a rough range of 7K NM you would have to burn less than 55 LPH combined – so 27.5 Litres Per hour each engine and still maintaining 7 Knots! (which wont happen) From a 1,450Hp engine that are NOT supposed to run at idle for any length of time. That 55LPH is NOT factoring in the generators running.

Its not just these guys that make these unachievable claims, almost all manufactures are doing it.

  19. Difficult to actually be critical, as some have, because the yacht was owner spec’d not subscriber spec. A beautiful, well equipped long range yacht. Terrific. Thanks for sharing Tony.

  20. "We have a much smaller tender," Smaller than what? Tell us the dimensions, L x W x H and draft, weight heavy with fuel and essential items. Vague adjectives mean nothing, facts, figures, and specifications we can comprehend. Please……

  21. I lke the way the builder incorporated the crane into the deisgn of the rail on the back deck. I would assume the crane would vertually disappear from the outside when stowed

  22. This is a beautiful yacht, Can't be critical the owner built this for his/her wants and needs.

When I saw the missing glass in the first cabin I was like are my eyes deceiving me? Cause I just took my contacts out lol.

Also, do owners choose/want to show off their custom yachts like this? Is this a choice they have any control over?
