  2. This has the potential to be the best boat I have ever seen but then I saw the stairs down and the bedrooms. The stairs themselves look lovely, the walls however look cheap and plain. The bedrooms just look like hotel rooms too, no where near as luxurious as I’d expect on a boat that looks the way it does. That being said the saloon among other things are fantastic. I’m no where near this league so maybe I don’t know what I am talking about but somethings just feel like they have been skimped out on

  3. CIGS solar panels are fully flexible (most "flexible" solar panels aren't!) and can be walked on. I'd have plenty on deck!
Now I'm wondering if some kind of inflatable fold-out 'barge' could be covered in solar and towed on nice days…

  4. The CATS seem ideal for cruising around the Mediterranean, hopping from port to port. Crossing an open ocean on a vessel that sits on the water, rather than a deep vee hull, will bob around like a cork. As long as you know what you want to use your yacht for, you can choose the appropriate hull shape. Personally, I love the idea of this boat but I would be sad that I was restricted to the Mediterranean.

  5. That's probably one of my favorite ones beyond the 10M. Feels less… pompous, if that makes sense? Not to be rude, there is obviously a lot of money and it shows, but some of those boats are just too much for display and this feels like a practical application of a lot of money within this sort of hobby, I guess. Love the drive system as well.

The explanation of the drive system could only have been coming from a German, I loved how the captain transitioned into the language for a second while thinking. Took me a second to notice.

  6. The emerging Crystal Sulpher battery technology, cheaper to produce than lithium, would provide three times the energy density per kilogram compared to current lithium cells. That would allow this vessel to carry over 1 megawatt of stored energy in the same space currently occupied by lithium batteries, with no weight penalty.

  7. Friend of mine was a skipper on one of these. In the Caribbean. Gave me the tour. Weird thing you can never work out where you are on the boat.

  8. What is the owner/operator size limitation? I thought it was around 80ft?

Is that a worldwide standard, or is that only enforced by some countries?

  9. Beautiful design and Esthetic on this Yacht, Wider never Disappoints

    Nice Decent tour,
And the Definitely 💯% German 🇩🇪 Captain 😌👌🏽was Excellent at Explaining the Hybrid Engine Capabilities of this Beauty.

    Thanks Mate, Well done.

  10. Thank you for the tour Nick. Very nice. You made the right call having the captain explain the drive/power management system. He did a great job explaining it. I still got a bit lost but I think I understood most of it. Lol
