  1. I love SafeHaven Marines Boats. The Voyager T2000 is in a class of its own. Frank is brilliant. I have been following his trials prior to the sea trials with you. I love the boat.

  2. Excellent video, thank you. Came here from your 'short' that popped up in my feed. Couple of things I don't think were mentioned, nothing tres importante, but
1 Are the engines naturally aspirated or with turbochargers?
2 Is there some form of heat source in the wheel house? It can get chilly in the shoulder months and heat would be nice.
3 Were the throttles able to be synchronised thus using just one lever. Some twins are tricky to set up and balance.
4 Quite often there can be hidden objects in the water. How would those rear drives stand up to an impact with a deadhead? (And I don't mean a floating fan of the Rock Band lol)
It was a good comparison to see how the Pilot boat was navigating the seas in a nice easy motion and yet the T2 seemed to be a bit choppy. Could have been just the camera motion of course. Many years ago I was crewing on a Nelson 40 which had been converted to a private yacht and remember seeing some serious snot (similar to what you just experienced) whist crossing the channel at night from Brixham. The vessel had a nice easy motion to it despite the high seas. Mind you, we were backed off to 8 knots. Those were the days of trailing a log behind the boat and using RDF to monitor your position. So I have to say the newer nav gear is a godsend. Keep up the good work.

  3. Common issue with higher speed in high sea is stamping and nosediwe. The big limiting factor, hard to get around. But there are gradations. And this one are good as long as there are air in the tunnel. And the sea is not that bad. Its a ok day ag sea.

  4. I watched many of the Thunderchild video's by Safehaven. Their boats are unmatched. I will need to go back to some of those videos but this Cat seems a tad more bouncy than what I remember Thunderchild. It doesn't take as much water over the bow either. Very impressive!

  5. How can he make the assertion that deploying a hydrofoil system will give you 50% fuel savings?Sounds like you won’t get as sick if you take the jab.How could you possibly know that?Nice boat but I’ll make it affordable!
