Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.
We crossed from Galveston to Dry Tortugas, arriving Thanksgiving day. We where at sea 8 days.
Jaja finally found somone like me😂😂
Eggs sound safer than using a sharp knife to cut up fruit in bad conditions…lol
I take a cimmin pill every moring when I wake up for sea sickness when we're on the water. Works for me. My husband step mom told us.
Couldn't think of a better time than 4:20 lol
Why aren't you trolling. Should be cruising at a slow speed
Thats right, let the work boats tear themselves apart, enjoy life!
Does that boat have a sea keeper?
I never once heard you mention a weather report before you left Port so did you neglect to check it or you just didn’t mention it me personally going out to see overnight? I would have every contingency planned now.
Love your yacht! What size and model is it? I am couple more years away from doing what you are doing. Loving your videos – keep it up!
Only 8 foot seas? In a 60' yacht thats slightly uncomfortable but easily handled. Unimpressed
Shocker waiting on VOLVO parts LOL. I wouldn't not push IPS's for 12 hrs on plane either LOL. Cool vid
That’s right sho them how to boat prep in paradise cove Atlantis Bahamas🇧🇸
The old rule is you never leave port on a Friday!
Nice journey Lovin it
Great video 👌 well done. Im a Riviera owner best boats. What app do you use on the tablet for maps?
Forget the people saying you shouldn't run the way you do in an express cruiser. Yeah it's unorthodox but so what. I'd say if you're going to cruise the way you are, its all about the big sailing cat. 12-15 knots cruising under power or sail. A lot less cost.
1/7/25 -The good thing about the ICW is calmer water & close to land in case of an emergency . Enjoyed the video . Happy New Year from Charleston,SC !
😂success 😊2 u
Hard work we sailed on from kauai 2 ig Island 35 vnots 12 hours. We had crew on cruise ship bridge work dilligently… I commend good sailors
Big island is beautiful hawaii water is azure blue😮😅
This was my first time watching. Really enjoyed the video and you are both very personable. Looking forward to following your adventures.
I am enjoying the channel but…can you give us a tour of the boat. Make, model, engines, HP and whatever else. I love the boat garage.
Not too rough ror eggs. One destroye I was on had the grill positioned port to starboard. You just put the eggs on and watch them roll back and forth. You have scram, bled eggs.
So are you going to trade in on a trawler?
Nice crossing. If you ever get boarded by the Coast Guard while your wife is sleeping you will have a lot of explaining to do! It looked like she was kidnapped. 🤣
You are so smart to transition to a trawler hull. 50 + years of boating seemingly hauling ass from one marina or anchorage to another. Too much tension, fuel, and repairs when 9 knots would have been much better. As I mentioned a Selene would be high on my list
It is a different live but wait till you get land sick..
It’s the Gulf of America now.
My first video of y’all’s that I have watched, you got a new Sub. Great content
First time watching. I'm a fan 🎉❤
just found your chanel and subscribed !!!! Love it 😍
8ft sea in video title now 6? Wasted time!
in 8 ft seas bullshit phony phony phony
I saw a banana
I was trying to see if it was in the comments. Motion sickness. Lack of salt in the system. Has to do with the ears. Yet. Natural salt works best. Like a sea salt.
