I was aboard this yacht during vintage weekend. The video doesn't do this yacht justice. The King and I is absolutely beautiful and a true yachtsman's yacht. Truly a majestic yacht.
Burger Boats Manitowoc WI is quite the renowned boat manufacturer
I was supposed to be at Vintage Weekend but couldn’t make it . Thank you for showing a small part of the classics . Motor Trend should have featured the amazing cars . Love the planes too
This must be kept under cover when not being enjoyed.
Knee pads
when the current spaceship yacht designs fade into obscurity , these yachts will still be standing tall. no replacement or pure class
I'd say those NA Detroit s drink the fuel.😮 great video
Absolutely beautiful ✌️
As a former yacht crew it was a common encounter to see the King & I, as well as Destiny ( another Burger) doing the rounds between Newport and Ocean Reef
A piece of history for sure.
Boat banks are vicious… it's a trap, the bank owns the boat and they sit and wait for some sucker to come along and spend their retirement on the the boat that the bank owns and the banks sucks u dry until you're broke. the next caption comes along and boat bank devowers his life savings too and they move on to the next cap… nobody gets the boat, it a vicious Financial cycle
THE finance company that actually owns the boat pays to get it looking nice but there is no mechanical value. It may look like a nice little but it's not seaworthy
Salon very noise
Classic lines
Gorgeous through out!!
Sitting here in upstate NY in 20 degrees I'm sooooooo envious. Beautiful boat.
Probably saw this yacht being built. I was a good friend of Skip Gunnel, Of the Burger yacht building family. . Passed away way too soon. RIP
Thank you very nice❤️⚓️
Burger Boat is one of the very few places I worked as a contractor where I looked forward to waking up and going to work! Really enjoyed my time there!
The woodwork is spectacular. Yeah fiberglass is easier to maintain, but then you have to look at fiberglass, all fiberglass. When it comes right down to it wood really is not that hard to maintain, but it takes a little effort to make it look really good. Not a problem for me I'd rather work on them than drive them anyway, keeps me busy.
Absolutely amazing and beautiful thank you for showing her
Was not designed for the charter market in the Med. This is a personal yacht. Nordhavn's have the same idea – a few nice cabins not 15 little ones.
The video is the worst part. Far to fast panning – can make you feel sick, and not showing what you are talking about. Skillshare is good for learning how to shoot video.
Hard work burger excellence
Size 70?
It was a great pleasure a few years ago to visit the Burger yard in Manitowoc. They have a separate design office also located there.
