  1. This vessel is not blocked properly. On the Great Harbour website there is an illustration. For instance there should be a block under the skeg.

  2. Excellent video, great presentation my opinion on these salvage boats is it would be best to take them to a trash to energy facility and turn their petroleum-based fiberglass hulls into energy. That energy can be used to start fresh and build a brand-new yacht bigger. better & stronger than the original.

  4. With hurricane Andrew they had Hatteras and Bertram boats miles from their moorings in parking lots etc. with little damage to the hulls. The fiberglass was that thick and I can attest to that on a 42 foot Hatteras I owned.

  5. My main concern is if the keel/spine has folded up in the middle which caused the fiberglass to split like that. That would be major surgery. Everything else looks like elbow grease and materials. Seeing the Victron electrical on and working and mounted so low, tells me that the water didn’t get into much. Because of the salvage history, this boat will be forever tainted, deserving or not. 100k is the absolute maximum IF I were interested, but that’s after I’ve spent time thumping on the bottom first.

  6. hey Homey ! do you know what salvaged means ? Exactly its broken waiting for you and your 'Go fund me I am stoo pid friends ' to spend a loot f cash on this utopian ( and boring for us ) ventrure , so walk away

  7. optimistically they did not freight thie fiberglass daydream with 2 caterpillar 3412s or some crazy size engine like I have seen in the same size realm. Even with it bouncing on backbone, I would notbe surprised if all that was superficial..what you see is what you get. Being that painful just to look at, I'd just dig from the outside…see where it is at.

  8. I seriously hope no one will try to do repairs on this hull and sell it as a safe and seaworthy boat again. General structure is damaged on this and cutting out parts will only do it worse. This is a houseboat at it's best now and there will still be a issue that osmosis will eventually bring it to its closure.
