Thanks for taking us along.
Looks like a great trip. I have an AMF Sunbird I'm fixing up for these kind of outings here in Texas. Maybe some day I can get it out to Florida to check it out. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed the ride and Google Mapped my way alone for extra details! Your point to point discriptions helped! Thanks! BestRoy
Dan, Always enjoy your sails and narration. We still have hopes of getting out with the WCTSS. We take turns with ailments but working on getting a handle on them. Best to you, R & K
Thanks for the long-format video, Dan . . . Very educational!
It’s always a race!
You have to see the Bahamas to understand how polluted the water in Florida is.
So cool, love this! Perfect sailing trip.
Thanks for sharing. Brought back great memories of doing the Georgian Bay North Channel with the trailer sailer group on my old Venture 24 in early 2000's.
This was a very nice trip report. Well done sailing, and well done with respect to letting us travel with you and your friends.
I really enjoyed. Such a cool reminder of my Dovekie cruises in the Lower Keys.
I have learned from extended cruises to pick destinations that go with the weather if possible. Sometimes bare-poled downwind but going slow in higher winds while reading a book and troll fishing. A personal note. I can't stand wind noise so I use ear plugs in higher winds. Lol.
Love it! I wanted to join you all but work doesn’t allow vacation time in January. Thanks for sharing!
I've paddled the 10 thousand islands via canoe from Everglades City to Flamingo and return 3 times and once in a 13' rowing/sailing dinghy. There are lots of different routes through the mangroves and along the coastal keys and I saw something new and interesting every trip. Fun paddling as long as you are prepared for mosquitoes, and even worse, sand flies. You avoid the worst of it by camping on the chickees.
Great trip. On question where did you park your cars and trailers. Was there a fee for your sailing and parking?
Dan what is the calendar schedule for the squadron can't seems to find it on YouTube. I have a 19f sailboat not much experience and I am looking to join a group to do trips together I would feel more safe.
