  1. Very nice boat for the price. Amazing huge fly bridge. Would be neat to make it transform to cinema with a huge dropping/uprising screen and be able to seal the area for wind/musquitos.
I really like all outdoor areas and the sleep are's. The only thing i highly dislike is the main room. It looks like a mess and is very i lnpractical. I think they can rearrange that space much better.
Overall great boat to consider when i win the lottery!

  2. Hi Nick, here’s my take on this Yacht. The beam is impressive on the galley deck and above. However every other part of the yacht is compromised in some way. Every cabin seems cramped. Certainly not luxurious or comfortable. When I run a 4 million pound toy, I don’t want to consider which lights to turn off to maintain my battery levels! I just want to start an engine and go. Furthermore once the batteries packs loose their optimum power/charging cycle, how much would it cost to replace? Whats the fire risk to having massive lithium batteries on board, as compared to standard power? I think I would take my money and spend it on a Fairline, Princess, Pearl or Sunseeker. Interesting tour and great video Nick, many thanks 👍

  3. Electric.
    Hard pass.
Boats are problematic to begin with. Adding electric power trains to a salt water environment is NEVER going to last.

  4. If I had the money, this would be it. Lots of space, anchor it at a nice Bay Area and have fun. Well designed boat. Love the interior

  5. For 4 million Euros, I must say that the interior layout appears to be a staff break room. However, as you mentioned, it can be customized for even more money.

  6. 11:00
Those welds on the ladder are disgusting!! For a 4 Million euro boat, I would expect a LOT better craftsmanship than that garbage! I used to do stainless steel dress welds for Hainze Hunter boats (bow rails, ladders, grab rails etc) when I was 16 yrs old and they were 100 times better than that dodgy crap! If I did welds like that I would have been fired. John Hainze was so impressed with my welds he commissioned me to deck out his personal half cabin cruiser.

  7. Great looking boat! Fitted out properly, could it go trans-Atlantic? That would be a super enjoyable cruise. With all the storage I saw, you would not be wanting for any supplies I should think. Cheers from Austin Texas!

  8. How fast do petrol powered cats of this boat go? It’s perfect, only thing it’s missing is some sort of turbo mode so you can hop across the Gulf Stream faster. It’s 60 miles to Bimini.

  9. Something that is always missed out in boat reviews is security. How secure are these boats? Can they be locked up and isolated to prevent thief of the boat or equipment. This is very relevant as they are all left moored in public places. Could this be added to your reviews? Many thanks.

  10. I had been so excited to see these walk throughs of the Silent yachts, but now that I see it… I'm left feeling "meh". They seem so pedestrian. The build quality appears very lacking for 4 million. Other yachts of similar size and similar price have such a luxurious feel through them. For example pause the video at 6:34 and tell me that doesn't look like a pressed laminate cabinet from Ikea. And that feeling just continues through the boat.

  11. Fueling up a boat is a massive pain in the backside, not to mention running a noisy stinky engine. So I hope more and more boats realise that they should use electric as their primary means of propulsion – maybe there is a backup diesel. On a boat like this, quite honestly you could probably run it all day long on electric unless you were crossing oceans.

  12. great review – been waiting for more reviews on these yachts – I'd so love to have one and take it around the world (slowly). So many beautiful beaches and diving (while the reefs last).
    Donate for a Dream

  13. Canne looks beautiful. I would love if you could show us around some of the boat shows and surround areas. I imagine that they are all completely different experiences.

  14. more solar, more enclosed, more automation, soon with ai controlled robotic crabs as crew the maintenance can be done in water all the time a floating powerplant to liveaboard as long frozen and non perishable food lasts, imagine once a year restock in a harbor or by an automated amazon delivery boat in the middle of nowhere……

  15. I would need want know about this yacht boat have RADAR'S for weather and under water proof sounds tests must be good perfect I would love it's need want One yes please ohhhh for just give to me My dream ohhhh yeahhhh

  16. I ordered one of those and paid Silent Yachts millions. Then they went bankrupt. The new company will not give me my hull and components I paid for nor recognize the money we paid. Instead they told me I could buy a new one for almost 5 million.

  17. I'm obsessed with this boat and the concept it embodies. I love the idea of its independence from ports. The size seems right to be able to manage as e.g., a husband-wife team and doesn't require a crew while getting as much space as possible. As some of the other comments have pointed out, this technology is only going to continue to evolve and it will be fascinating to see where things are in another decade or two. My only hesitation about this boat is I worry about her bluewater capabilities in order to move her e.g., from the Med to the Caribbean. I know there's been at least one transoceanic crossing (on a Silent 60?) a couple years ago and she's certified, but I wish there were more data and discussion around its ocean-going capabilities and I do hope that is something Silent continues to focus on–they don't need to make Hallbergs but it'd be great to see them at least bringing the capability for the occasional crossing.

  18. Man, I guess I have an unpopular opinion, but I really don't like much about this layout or the quality of the materials. I was interested in these a few years back and I am much less so after this video. Solar is still cool though

  19. How Many Kilowatts is the Battery Pack? How many Watts of Solar on the Roof? What's the Pack Voltage? Amp/hrs of the Pack. Watt/hrs of the Pack. How fast is a 0-100% Charge? How many Harbors have Charging Stations? What's the cost of one Charge? How far a Passage to motor in One Charge, or Cycle? How Many Cycles for the Cat Battery Pack. Is the Pack and Electric Motor Servicable/Replaceable?

  20. Very interesting boat – particularly the way it is powered, very good to see the interview with Steve, and for the way he explained things – a great introduction, thanks for such an interesting video.
