Delivered plenty of boat world wide ,some alone,with a boat engineer background,electrician,diesel specialist,fiber glass engineer,etc etc ,9 North Pacific crossing deliveries, florida to guam(cat 42 ft alone 13.000 miles) ( water increased at sail drives ,injected silicon via the sensor fitting stopped the leak!and sailed on 4ooo miles like that with no problem) delivery aint easy ,never is ,be prepared to handle any situation ,if you cannot dont take on the job.point.the most beautiful is as always reaching final destination ,handover the ship to the owner ,get a great diner together and fly back home ,job well done.sad to see a brand new cat on the reef,,with only sail power available than sail to a safe destination bay,where u can anchor out stay at high seas till your problem is solved ,but like i said it need experience with ships yacht power boat ,to handle a issue .

21. Absolute incompetence on the part of the delivery crew. As a long time delivery captain, yacht captain and also years as a Sea Tow captain I've had WAY worse than this happen to me and others and did not cause me to wreck the boat. For starters stick the raw water intake into the bilge can move huge amounts of water. I had a prop shaft break and fall right out of the boat way out in the ocean, so alot more water coming in than this could have been. Still managed to not sink and sail to the destination. Total chump delivery captain here, probably some local idiots they hired because it was the boat yard's brother in law or somethiing.
