  1. The helm layout is brilliant. I don't like the weird offset and elevated helms you find on so many cats but they nailed it. 15-20 kts across the Golfe de Gascogne? That's an incredible turn of speed. It's almost as cool as those trampoline cushions. Great review, Toby! Sharing your enthusiasm here for this one.

  2. Elegant, stylish with staggering performance, spacious with stunning wood work and premium fabrics ! what else ? Really feel more confortable and privilieged than HH 44 and at least as quick as the Outremer 51. It is the sweet Spot. Well done Toby Hodges 👍

  3. Will somebody please give Toby a million quid? No sense having him review these boats if he can’t own one. I had 10 bitcoins I sold for $2500 in 2015, that would have done it! 😭

  4. 🤔 What was the loud creaking noise? I was very impressed when Toby went below in a high end monohull, where there wasn’t a peep – very quiet. This one seems noisy?

  5. Beautiful boat. Seems with the beam, it'd be a challenge to single hand after watching the skipper run from one side to the other during a tack. During foul weather, it would suck if you got stuck hand steering. No protection. I also can't help but wonder that while the electronics near the helm are designed to be water resistant, how long would they last before they succumb to salt water and the elements, also no protection.

  6. The Nautitech 48 Open, is a very elegant execution for a catamaran. The interior, looks warm and inviting with a great layout. The cabin that offers the flexibility to sleep 1, 2 or 3 persons, very clever. The 2 seats with the 'netting' in front of them, are an awesome, but its also the perfect place to while away the hours! My only critique, The "navigation" station is precariously near the stairs to go below, one moment you navigating rough seas, the next you're down below napping. Thanks, Toby for another great tour, of a very exciting… boat

  7. If I was 20 years younger and had a lot more money, I would be off with the trades behind me. The pond this year, Caribbean next and the south seas after that.😂 What is that? Time for my medication nurse? I love it.

  8. Good to see a production cat that can actually sail half decently. I think with all the scandals re construction of a lot of production cats–Lagoon, Leopard etc, it would be good to see the detail of how they have actually attached the bulkheads etc and general layup. The build reputation of production cats has been badly dented. Btw, I would prefer daggerboards, they make a huge difference and are not any more hassle.
