2. I started to watch your videos and initially did not know what to think. Then I realized, you REALLY know your stuff. This video is my favorite so far because the subject is of interest to me. First, I have never gone on the Yacht Club, I was a NCL Haven guy. Second, my Explora Journeys Cruise is in a OT2 with twin beds. Your idea of using the cushions from the daybed won my over. Bravo. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. It is appreciated. Cruise well and enjoy every moment.

3. At last. A man after my own heart. What is life without wine, coffee and ship models? On Preziosa, we have just finished the first of our four winter Yacht Club trips. Our next is on the same class of ship, Fantasia. Our recent experience of YC was exactly as you described in that our butler, the sommelier and the rest of the YC crew were magnificent. However, looking to next year, Explora Journey's is in our sights but we are going to make a decision after our final trip in April. Now, with the benefit of one trip and your analysis, so far, it seems there is a high bar for Explora to jump!

4. Very, very good video comparison of Yacht Club & Explora. My wife and I have found the best value for what we look for in our cruise experience in the MSC Yacht Club. We had thought about giving Explora a try, but there's no need when we consider everything we love in the Yacht Club – why leave?
   Your comment on the coziness with the Yacht Club staff and what feels lost with World Europa is exactly how I felt, and I could not have said it better. World Europa sails in the port heavy Mediterranean with passengers embarking/disembarking every day and I think that plays a part in what we feel about it (I hope at least). I hope the Yacht Club on World America regains that cozy familiarity we've gotten used to here in the Caribbean. We booked the Royal Suite on World America sailing June 28, 2025 from the new terminal in Miami, and I can't wait to embark aboard.

5. I’ve been on 20+ cruises so far and finally hd the chance to try the yacht club on the MSC Seashore this past summer. It was the best experience I’ve had on a cruise. I have not tried and Explora ship yet, but I think the yacht club offers more just but having a regular cruise ship attached to it.

8. Great video. We've done a couple of Yacht Club trips and have an Explora 1 cruise booked for April. I can't wait to see the difference.

9. We've done Yacht Club on the Seashore twice, the second was a three day cruise. I loved the 7 day cruise, but the three day was not as good of an experience. We have Explora II booked in September so we are super excited. I'm curious if MSC's new drink policy will change the vibe. I love not having to show my card or scan my wrist band for every drink, but I've heard their 15 drink limit is in effect for the Yacht Club as well. I know it would be a rare day that I would hit that number but I hate the idea that I would have to keep track.

10. Thanks for communicating the differences. We have our 2nd YC experience booked for 12/25. Both on Seascape. We loved our 1st time on Seascape & in YC & can’t go back to regular cruising. We have been to many of the Caribbean ports & mostly booked for the YC experience & the ship. I mentioned to my husband that I might want to try Explora next to see some different ports. Your information was very helpful so we can compare. Thank you!

    It has never occurred to me that the MSC ships were worth booking – the Yacht Club seems very promising.

    One thing that does concern me is the quality of the steaks in the Explora being so disappointing. They have been going for over a year now, so the fact that you found them so poor and others commented on your video that they thought the same or have heard the same but always hope they’ll work it out – it seems unlikely at this point. Still, plenty of other things to eat, I guess.

13. How can you compare a low end cruise line MSC..even the Yacht Club ….with a luxury cruise line EXPLORA? It’s comparing apples to oranges

14. WOW this was great!!! We had sailed on Seaside in the Yacht Club and LOVED it, but are very intrigued with trying out the Explora ships!!! Very informative thank you!!!

15. I enjoyed your video and loved seeing our amazing butler, Faisol! We had him on Meravillia a year and half ago, and still marvel at the wonderful, caring service he provided. He knew what we wanted before we did. We are booked on World America in April and keep hoping he might have a new contract on the ship. All the best!

16. Enjoyed the comparison and you certainly aided my future sailing decision(s)! One odd question, are the hot tubs actually heated on Explora? I ask this, as I am certain you already know, the YC tubs tend to sway to the side of cool.

17. Thanks, was on explore 2 in January, great. Not really interested in yacht club. Did the haven a few years on Norwegian joy. Haven was great, but, not so great when you left it. For luxury prices, would prefer the whole ship is a haven/yacht club experience. Great channel.

18. I read somewhere that the YC butlers always ask if you want to go somewhere on the ship and want to take you there because they're basically fenced in to the YC area all day. So it's like a little break for them to get out of there.

19. You are being offered a $12.00 wine at 14:57. I would hope that they would do better.
