#yachtdelivery #yacht #yachting #floridaboating #florida #lock #boating #yachttraining #delivery #beneteau

Best instrumental boating channel out there. Much appreciated.
That was awesome!!
Great video, some pretty good content. Keep up the good work, stay safe and I look forward to seeing the next video.😎👍
Excellent video Captain. Perfect training video. Thank you. keep them coming. Ohio boys out.
Another great video w/ excellent content. I especially found the info on navigating locks informative. (I don’t encounter locks often as a coastal boater in the Northeast.). Thx Captain!!
34:25 Nice and easy explanation with the thumbs 👍👍
You should bring a little R/C tank on training days to help new owners understand twin engine operation.
Cool stuff
49 deg feel sorry for you here in the PNW its 09:45 and 40 deg Love your videos thanks G
Great video thanks
Getting use to the controls – after a while the boat feels like part of you.
Awesome job Capt Dave!!! I see many days of fun boating for you! Great Coaching!!!
Out of curiosity, if he has his captain on the boat, why wouldn’t he be training the owner? The captain just not interested in training the owner or are there different qualification to being able to train someone?
I kept wanting to tell him to let go of the wheel and both hands on shifter
I've learned so much watching your vids. Thank you!
This was so fascinating to watch and learn! I’ve often wondered how you go from handling a small fishing boat (all I’ve ever done, and only a bit) to driving a big trawler with inboards and living accommodations. It would be so intimidating having to master a boat of this size without considerable instruction. I came across this channel and here you’ve answered so many questions already. New owners hire a captain’s coach! Super cool. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills with the world. 😊❤️
Nice job. Beautiful boat. That's right up my alley!
"He's crazy, ain't he?" just got you a new subscriber.
Very informative. Great job.
Thanks for giving all the detail though the whole trip. So informative! Could you comment on what is customary for tipping the dock hands when tying up and fuel dock down there?
They should make it maditory for people to view your channel if your a first time captain of a new boat.
I always love how patient you are with the novices. You not only educate and guide them but give them confidence especially with docking. Great video!
your thumb direction is good i was taught with the shoulders
This can be a info overload first time at the wheel of a new boat
done watching you're a calm great teacher salute
Great stuff Captain
Did you tell Rich about the square grouper? If you did I missed it in the video. Everyone needs to keep their 👁👁 open for those opportunities.
Gulf of America 😝
I captain 35ft sport cruiser with no thrusters. I am curious on the stern,it seems like it’s rarely used around the dock compared to traditional maneuvering with the drives…does it just not respond well to walking it off the dock? Or is this just good training on the core skills needed? I am amazed at how anticipation is intuitive to some but foreign to others (wind, current, momentum).
Great job Captain, always enjoy the videos. Keep'm coming.
Found your channel a few weeks ago and really enjoy it. I grew up buzzing around the Mississippi River in a 14’ Alumacraft with a 8 hp Mariner. Used go through and back of lock and dam 3 so I was interested in seeing the locks you were going thru, seems pretty much the same. Great video thanks!
I've always wondered why they say port or starboard instead of right or left?????
The owner was making me so anxious; you could tell he was nervous at times too. Totally justified operating a new boat. That first scratch is always the toughest.
Good job with your beautiful new boat! Your confidence will build with time & experience.
👍
Awesome video
fun to watch
Just want to say I am so glad I found this channel. Been boating down in SWFL for a few years now and never had anyone teach me anything. I love your patience and methods of instructing
Dang…. I'm up in Oregon and sure do miss Ft. Myers… heading back soon to do the Loop 🙂
Excellent as always!
Great information Capt. Awesome video and looks like a nice trip
nice job captain
A bucket list item is doing the Great Loop, even though my personal experience is limited to canoes, my dad's old aluminum fishing boat (not a bass boat) and sailing a 27' Beneteau on LI Sound 30+ years ago LOL If I ever play the right numbers you're going to be getting a call from me!
Only just found this channel, I'm over in the UK and been boating for lots of year but still find useful snippets of info, very informative, as they say, every day is a school day!
In fact we did bare boat rent a 50 (something) ft trawler yacht our of Sarisota some years ago, we went South but cant really remember where we ended up (Boca something I think).
It took a few hours to get used to the markers for the ICW and of course, you have the regular red's and green's the wrong way around over there anyway (ha ha) but have a great time.
3 R’s. Red Right Return . Going out red on left coming in red on right
Looks like the owner bit off more than he can handle with that large boat. I don’t know if this is his first boat, but he seems very nervous and distracted
Excellent job captain.
I love your new boat. I am looking forward to your New York trip. Safe travels.
