Săptămâna aceasta, Lindsey și cu mine am navigat de pe marina Waters Tween de pe Insula Captiva și ne -am îndreptat spre calea navigabilă intracoastală spre celebrul port de cuiburi al Crow’s Marina. Acest loc frumos este chiar pe intrarea de la Veneția, ceea ce face o viață uimitoare a mării și apusuri de soare epice. După o croazieră absolut frumoasă, lansăm oferta pentru a pleca și a explora. În sfârșit să luăm un bar / restaurant local minunat. Luați o cină cu noi la renumitul restaurant și tavernă cu Nest Marina Crow … acest loc are vederi minunate asupra intrării de la Veneția, mâncare minunată și, mai ales, un personal super prietenos! După o zi de relaxare, aruncăm liniile pentru a naviga, din păcate, în cele din urmă, în portul nostru de acasă, în zona Tampa Bay. Super trist să plec acasă, dar au fost câteva săptămâni epice. The Crow’s Nest has a webcam I used to tune in to when I lived in Oregon 21 years ago. I would pull it up at work and watch the pelicans and yachts going in and out while the rain and wind hit my office glass in downtown Portland. Needless to say we live in Florida now and we couldn’t be happier. I retired 5 months ago. We have our boat moored in Titusville. We’re getting the house ready to sell, then it’s OUR time to go cruising!! 😎🛥️👉 🏝️

Awesome videos, you explain the areas quite well, for us that never have been there.
Another fun film! We love stopping in Venice and walking around downtown. We stopped for fuel at the Crows Nest last year before we made our crossing back to Pensacola. While we have stayed at the Crows Nest, we try to stay at Venice Yacht Club if space is available. We get one night free (as reciprocal with the Florida Council of yacht clubs) for being a member of the Pensacola Yacht Club. The restaurant at the Crows Nest is one of our favorites.

Y’all went right by our daughter’s high school on the ICW—we moved here in 2021 when she was a junior, and her senior year her team won the State Championship in volleyball. She played at SCF until an injury made her hang up her shoes.
I paddleboard over there by the jetties a few times each week—I’m fortunate to have a business that I can work while on my board. LOVE our little corner of SWFL here. 💙
