I have a question would m/y octopus by the closet private yacht to this. I understand stand its 20+ years of difference in tech but wasn't Paul's yacht really the only yacht like it hat? I know this massively larger by 200 or something feet and designed for oceanic work where as octopus was a pleasure boat that Paul wanted to have the ability to do what this boat does or would do if it where built 20 years ago. they would be similar certainly not equal but I thought octopus was one of the only private pleasure vessels used by NOAA or institutes? Paul loaned them the thing not rented it no? I might be wrong but I thought octopus is the only boat like that with having capabilities but was owned and used as a pleasure craft first and foremost but was so tricked out it could be used to do some of what rev is primarily tasked and was designed for. I still think m/y octopus is one of the ahead of its time, bueatiful and design almost to a commercial level while maintaing it just his private yacht with things never before seen. dual heli hanger the sub and diving facility plus being one of the finest luxury yacht on the planet then. lurssen no? hows my gt2rs 997 doing?
