Hei! Thank you all for watching and for all of the feedback! Also for 200K Subs!! 😀 I hope you enjoy the Install of this system! PSA: NONE of the companies in this video payed me to make this video. It seems that some may mistake my passion for advertising LOL. I am currently out in the Bahamas. Editing the videos now, and they are EPIC! Stay tuned!
Or no batteries… or maybe SOME batteries
https://youtu.be/fZdvG7xNFBw
Get yourself a power resistor to throw in your toolbox that you can use in series with your clip leads to precharge or discharge your caps. It'll be easier on the components and you won't risk blowing your line fuses (or roasting your clip leads).
Nice install, how do you stop the batteries moving in high seas? Are the batteries bolted together is there a frame around the base of the batteries?
So the batteries that can explode under the right conditions are under the bed? Nice
Absolute killer soundtrack everytime 🔥🔥
You should get some Victron inverters. The Cerbo can talk directly to the batteries and you can control everything from the App, no dip switches haha
3:46 built in DC charger…
Having to right tool for the job is paramount………crimper
great job Gus , I have a 9.5kw gen that I hate to run , I would love a setup like this just for a-c at night
Hey..a throught on the AC…just installed a mini split system just for the main suit and a joining room….very small an efficient..battery would be perfect for it…main system when guest arrive or on gen set…
are those osha socks at 50 :00 ??
Thank you Gus! Not boring at all. Love your videos!!!!
Nice work Gus. So I guess the batteries only charge when running the starboard gen?
Thanks for documenting this. Would have never thought about charging capacitors in a huge inverter and stuff. Been looking into huge inverters and stuff and would have been like, "Dang YouTemu!" Jk.. Will hook up my gen first and try to shop for american made products as all of us should.
That install was spectacularly done well. What a unit!
Will they also charge from the port generator ?
Bro, not gonna lie, I would be so afraid I would blow the boat to the moon if I were to put that in!
You need ventilation where the charger is, a Solar Array and charger and then you will really be more self sufficient off grid and not using fuel. Unless you are not charged per kwh on shore power
2k solar can save you a lot of fuel and easy to fit on that size of boat
Great video keep up the good work
Not a bad way to spend $16,000 😅
excellent video Gus!! Very educational. Good products too!
no solar ? its a must save you loads
Stopped watching after the 5th time hearing "Life-PO-4"
No one says that. It's Lithium Iron phosphate or LFP.
Always great videos. I know who to call when I'm purchasing my boat.
Wow!
That is Awesome power to be able to run the entire boat overnight on battery power.
Congratulations!
Great video again ! Even a few 440w panels will get you some juice as well ^^.
