There's so much more room for more solar panel on top… Maybe that's an option.?
If they tapered the side hull merging lines in a less angular way, this design would work.
I'm sure the next model will have lots of improvement.

4.5L a mile isnt that great, The 85 foot Two Oceans power cats run about 2L a mile at 8knts
Id love it, but it is butt ugly. And that upper deck needs a full solar canopy.
I don't think it's any good in rough seas with the waves hitting that strange bow directly. It looks more like a boat for rivers or lakes. Aside from being an extremely UGLY design. It's a kind of giant, misshapen shoebox…
