  1. I own a 44 DeFever with stabilizers and it's my second one. Great stout boat at home offshore or the icw. Huge walk in engine room with naturally aspirated engines. The naiad stabilizers open up a lot more blue water boating and help on the icw because of rude boaters waking you!

  2. Somebody with alot of time and money can get it nice again, but with what looks like saturation of tbe hull, I wouldn't want it near rough seas again.

  3. The guy you are saying "dude" to at 0:31 is just shifting the boat forward on the trailer, relax. I'm guessing you don't trailer much? He just pulled the boat out of the ramp behind him. Sometimes the boat pulls away from the winch mast vee block. Often due to the ramp angle etc. Nothing to get al flustered about.

  4. I thought about buying something similar to this and makeing it floatable. Stick it in my pond and turn it into an Airbnb or an apartment for me when I am in the states.

  5. Looks like it was very nice. I'm an idiot, but I'd say it'd cost more to restore than it's worth. Smarter folk than me might say something different and I hope they are right. If nothing else, I hope the parts can help someone.

  6. If those are 8v92's, they're not dead, far from it. What normally would kill other, lesser engines simply makes Detroits stronger, arguably one of, if not the most indestructible marine engine ever produced.

  7. You need to wear a bio mask when touring these moldy boats!! It was growing all over the place!!! Health Hazard for sure!!! ✌️🏳️‍🌈✌️

  8. Bid on an auction boat here in the pacific northwest. Was number two but someone else wanted it more than me. I logged off and went about my day. No loss I really did not care.
Then got a phone call from the auction house. They said I was in the running for the second round of bidding. Second round ? Screw you buddy, not playing that game I am out. I hope the initial winning bidder walked away too. Disgusting policies of auction houses.

  9. How much did it gavel for? My neighbor got a 58' Chris Craft for under a hundred bucks a foot from a marina in Jersey and had it hauled upstate NY to drop in the lake. Took out the DDC power and fuel tanks, uses a 250 OB on a bracket to move it around but it's awesome for a summertime cabin that floats, lol.

  10. It's been updated. Boats didn't have modern appliances back in 1989 so there's been some updates. The old Detroits would Shirley produce propulsion. But that baby needs a lot of work. Somebody was taking care of until it got wrecked and it looks like it was given up on
