I totally agree – I was so disappointed with YC WA. Never again.
This ship seems confusing. Is it like 1st class, 2nd class,3rd class and each have separate dining areas except the pay extra ones? Your next trip on MSC are you Aurea? I never tried MSC but I want to and after your videos I don't think YC is worth the extra $$$.
I actually think the Lanai sounds great. It's an exclusive area but you get the entertainment from the regular pool. The YC pool can be a bit boring so it makes a great option. But honestly, you're walking around the ship in the afternoon when everyone is on Ocean Cay. Of course it's going to be empty. It's pretty disingenuous to keep pointing out that no one's using things. But you're right about the pool area and lack of buffet. Very disappointing

What are all of the things that are different on YC/WA compared to the other YCs? I have YC booked on this ship next February. I booked based on YC reviews on the youtubes. I deleted all of my socials at the beginning of the year so I'm not in on the latest FB chatter. I'm expecting that same level of service and offerings. How disappointed will I be exactly? Is there anything better about this YC than the others? Give me some positive news!!!
Im surprised with the way this guy talks about the YC and the experience . Very rude and ignorant comments. First he seems to be a real Carnival guest. Second he doesn’t even know how to pronounce the AUREA… he talks about the AURORA category😆😆😆😆 He doesn’t fit within the YC environment. Very disrespectful and rude. Of course he had to pay minimum to get upgraded to a YC. One of the worst videos I have seen from someone who talks a lot about so many cruises he has taken. The review is filmed when the ship is docked at Ocean Cay!!! 😂😂
Oh no, we are sailing on July 5th. I can’t believe they have downgraded. I can’t believe we are paying almost double what we have paid on other MSC ships. I loved the yacht club on the Seashore, we keep booking it, in fact, we will be on the seashore and getting off to try MSC world America and I am already disappointed.

Your language is disgusting. You can a point without cursing! We were on the World America and loved the yacht club. Your video should have been a done on a typical day,not on an Ocean Cay day where all the staff is off the ship!

Really have to give you a two thumbs up for making us fully aware of the very obvious downgrade that MSC World America has brought to the Yacht Club table!! Regardless of some valid presentation comments, you are making it a point to provide authenticity & honesty in your videos, & you literally saved us $8600 worth of disappointment in a future cruise we had booked!! Yes, our two-level Duplex Suite with outside whirlpool would have surely been beyond-amazing, but to not have the added benefits of the normally “standard” Yacht Club perks of the snacks in the Top Sail Lounge or the buffet on the YC pool deck would have honestly been a major disappointment for the money we were spending!!! Thanks to you & your shared information, we’ll be rebooking our Yacht Club cruise on a Seaside class ship!!!!! Truly appreciate your efforts! Thank you.

Having sailed YC many times, so glad I did not book on this ship. The layout is terrible compared to the Seaside class of ships. Amenities seem to be lacking too!
I have been on 17 MSC cruises. I cancelled my November cruise on World America. Because they changed the drink policy. No longer a cruise line for me. Moved on to Celebrity.

Thank you so much for giving an unbiased video. It is really hard to find unbiased videos these days! We've been on the MSC seashore yaught club and it was a wonderful experience, but after seeing this and what they've taken away, there's no way we'll book MSC world America unless it's just Auria (Don't think I spelled that right) class.
Hello, I will be on the same cruise with you on June 21st. Can you please tell me if I book 21006, is that a bad decision because I am under floor 22? Is there a pool or pool deck above me and it’ll be too noisy? I can’t tell from the deck plans on their website. Thanks so much. 👍🏻
You could go either way on most of the things you point out, but the fact there’s no bar on the pool deck AND not at least 2 or 3 waiters hanging around to help people and take drink orders is absolutely DISGUSTING !!! It being quiet is no excuse. If I decided to stay on the ship, I would look forward to being pampered on the pool deck the whole day, because they’ve got no one else to look after, but no, you would feel abandoned, on a big modern ship that you paid a premium price for a premium service 🤬
Didn’t there used to be a sunglasses station as you walked onto any YC pool deck? They cleaned your sunglasses before going to your lounger and asked if there’s anything they can get you. That’s the type of service you should get for the price. That YC pool deck was deserted !!!
That snack/food menu on the Yath Club is embarrasing. Wow very discouraging for a premium price and supposedly premium experience.

Ok let me just say a couple of things…my opinion, of course. 1. the lanai is a great idea because of the shade that's available. And regarding shade, it's also lacking on all of the sea class ships. Shade in general is not easy to come by on any of the MSC ships. I agree it's a flaw, but I will definitely use the lanai when we visit in November. 2. The fact that Aurea is accessible by YC guests is a perk. While you may view the area as superior, I say WOW, not only can we use the YC amenities, but we can also use Aurea areas as well. The fact that it's just a deck down is a bonus…again, my opinion. 3. Agree with you on the food/snack availability. Hopefully with more complaints, MSC will reverse action. 4. While the YC dining room is smaller, it is important to note that there is also another dining venue exclusive to YC guests…so plenty of places for people to dine. 5. Anyone cancelling their World America cruise based on the impressions and opinions of others is really short sited for giving over their plans due to the views of others. I prefer to make up my own mind. Having said all that…thank you for the perspective and the video. BTW…stealing towels from YC only serves to drives prices up for everyone. Just a thought…
We have just spent a truly amazing week on World America in the Yacht Club. Your whole so call write up could not be further from the truth. I think you walk about looking to find faults that simply are not there. The staff and butler service very truly brilliant. There was always somebody around to serve or answer questions. The food was first class. Everybody on the ship you simply could not fault.

We have been 4 YC on the Sea ships… all were 100% fantastic in every way… all were also upgraded from lowest price fantastica balcony!!! We just accepted a counter offer for the Maraviglia YC in couple of months… keep doing what you do… valuable information every time…cheers…

Its okay to realize that The Yacht Club is not for you. But to start being a douche and complaining about what your expectations of what you thought is now more comical. You should NOT drink if you can't hold your alcohol.

It is so funny. I watched this video before sailing World America Yacht Club and was a little nervous. Having now actually sailed on it (yes I have done other Yacht Clubs) I think you are overblowing it. The pool deck was fine with a fair amount of shade and not that crowded on sea days. Lots of waiters walking around being very attentive with drinks. I also think you are making a bigger deal about the floor plan and leaving and coming back in. Yeah it is odd but not at all an inconvenience like you said. I’d do it again.

How is Aurea better than Yacht Club? Just because they have a deck with two jacuzzis and a bar? Yacht Club guests have access to that deck plus more!! Besides, Aurea guests don't have free wifi, or a butler 24h. I can see why all you care about is the bar but come on!! I don't know if World America is much different from World Europa, but Yacht Club on World Europa was wonderful and I just booked a duplex suite with whirlpool on WE again for next year. I don't drink alcohol and I don't need food 24h, but if I'm hungry and there's nothing available at the Top Sail Lounge or Grill & Bar I can just call my butler and order room service.
