11. Yacht designers are starting to worry me. The conveniences come before sustainability. Another hole in the hull because they think they can. Overweight or not it's designed to sink.

12. As a yacht broker for the last 25 years I’ve had clients with boats that have sunk. The biggest issue and why they usually write off the boat is the electrical system coming in direct contact with salt water. In this circumstance the whole boat would need to be completely re-wired from stem to stern. Especially if the batteries were turned on at the time of the contact which they would have been in this case.
