1. Hi Guss, I’ve been watching since the Albin 32 move you did. I’m from the NC BFT. Liked the honorable mention. Anyway, put a shackle on the anchor shank and attach 2 links of chain to the shackle. Then attach the swivel to the other link of chain. This will stop the problem with the binding you had on retrieval. In addition, it will stop you from snapping off your swivel if you side load that swivel on the anchor shank. Something to consider on your set up. Maybe I’ll see you on your trip north. 6. I see the splint on your finger k. Hopefully if it's jammed you had that reset, if not done around the time you had it later in life you will have to have surgery to correct it hopefully it all healed up well and you're doing fine. My finger was jammed in high school I never had it set correctly later in life I have a few issues and they need to do surgery to correct it now lol hopefully you had a professional look at it to have that set correct

That happened to my pinky finger as well until this day it looks like what yours did now they need to do surgery sometimes my hand will get stuck in certain positions please don't put your health secondary it will give you issues when you get older. I hope you don't feel like you can't put your health first over continuing the journey that is very important if that finger is jammed and not set correctly it will cause problems later in life A few hours at a clinic will be worth the years of issues or possible surgery.

15. Gus, like your vids but the anchor swivel should NEVER have been installed where it can have a side load. It needs to toggle between lengths of chain or rope to prevent side loading.

28. Considering this. Would of course like to know how much you paid for the 70 but understand why you want to keep it a secret. Have you tried cruising at wake speed ? for a 70 that would probably be around 4knots/hr. As you probably know displacement hulls are very efficient at this speed. Have you tried airbnbing the cabins ?

33. The rope bridle should be taking the load not the chain. It puts serious strain on the windlass.
