10. When the German naval contract went to a supplier in the Netherlands, there was political complaint why the contract wasn’t given to national suppliers. The reason was money, Damen underbid the other suppliers. Oh, the irony if the ships can’t be built for the price announced.

13. Germany misuses the unfortunate situation Damen is in. They know that the reason for the delay is not Damen’s fault, its Dassault. Germany is still angry about loosing the pitch for these fregats, and they now simply try to strangle their Dutch competitor. Very unfair.
