4. I'm always aware that Turkish sailing yachts will behave like the local Gulet designs. Great in local waters but unseaman-like out at sea elsewhere.

5. There are never enough saling yachts, they seem more interesting, impart because there are not so many production yachts. I was surprised its a short range cruiser, so limits its use. Beautiful all the same and I guess David there was not much screaming and kicking when they out you on the plane.

I prefer contemporary modern yachts, but I'm willing to settle for even classic yachts, provided they meet my requirement for length of 90ft, beam of around 22ft, a draft of around 5ft, and a centerboard to extend the draft to around 18ft. I also need a ketch rig, twin rudders and preferably twin screws and engines. I, of course, want the hull to be aluminium and well insulated for the polar regions, so I can take it anywhere, even though I'd want to mostly sail in the tropics. I like the layout of the Nordia Van Damme 'Ophira '..I'd want to be able to sail this with only help from my wife. I want another expedition yacht, like the 'Alucia', to carry a helicopter, a small submarine, and an amphibious aircraft. I would want that to have a layout, like the 'Maverick'.

8. The modern sailing yachts, don’t have half the style of the older ones. Something about them that makes me think, I’d love to give it a shot. Nothing more romantic than sailing around the world, in my opinion.

11. 6M is a lot of money, but a one off like that hand built in wood composite takes a huge amount of work hours. The competition is high, also from vessels that are proven circumnavigators. The ideal customer for that boat is probably some wealthy Turk!

24. Thanks for the very nice video, as usual! But at 5:45 : the tables are totally not aligned. Sorry, but if I were a prospective buyer, would step aboard and see those tables, I would run away. I do not understand you put that image in the video. It makes me doubt the overall build quality, as in ships like these, those are the kind of details which need to be PERFECT.
