7. Former Marriott corporate manager. Even employees think this is overpriced, the company did a ton of layoffs this past year because of poor decisions like this cruise line and buying the CEO a new jet. The company is not like it was when the Marriott family was running it.

16. For $4k per day you can have a far better and luxurious experience in what essentially is a "middle of nowhere" hotel. Eg. Amanzoe in the peloponese

26. When a cruise gets up to that price range I would rather get together with two couples and hire a private yacht. For that price I want control over my itinerary and food.

28. altogether, especially the rooms, it doesnt look nice enough to be ultra luxury. Also the fact you had to pay to get your clothe laundered and then had to resort to doing it yourself is shameful.

41. Its a fantastic ship, inside looks great, food seems to be well thought out, and cabins are roomy.

I'm still very baffled by luxury cruises… I sort of get cheap cruises with booze included for a few thousand dollars… you drink your brain away, party it up… but $28k for 7 days just doesn't seem ever to be worth it. You can go to any city and stay in better rooms with better views, and eat at the best restaurants in which ever city you choose, and you won't be spending $28k.

    I also get river cruises where you stop at 10-12 different cities over 20-25 days, if you're older and don't want to pack and unpack.
