2. I wish you had made it clearer that the young lady in your WA Y C video segemnts was not your actual butler. We saw her in the YC when we were on Seascape last year and while she was not our butler we had the pleasure of dealing with her a couple of times.
   I also hope you commented to the Concierge and or YC Director concerning your absentee butler. As you are well aware, unless management knows they cannot take corectivee action.

4. I love your video. I have sailed 20 times in the Haven on multiple ships. I’ve never left out of Fort Lauderdale, but Miami and some other courts have a Haven lounge and UR escorted onto the ship by your butlers I have tried the MSC Seascape yacht club beginning of June. My Butler was horrible. Fine showed up at 9:30 PM after I complained. Had to talk to the head Butler to get anything done. I’m gonna try MSC one more time booked a cruise for the Middle East in June on the Europa. The show is on the Seascape were not that good on the Norwegian shows have been good like choir man, Jersey Boys, etc. but I think you’re right. You need to decide what is best for you and you are correct Ncl is much more expensive but I do think the food quality is better but you’re right. The menu doesn’t change in that limit you I’m gonna keep watching your videos thank you.

   Great review comparison.
   My wife and I are booked on our first MSC cruise on World America for there October 25th 2025 7 night Eastern Caribbean sailing in the Yacht Club on deck 21 port side of the ship also in a deluxe balcony Suite.
   We are looking forward to our first experience even though we are not MEGA ship people per say but the itinerary, time frame, new ship, and reviews of yacht club sold us to give it a try.
   We sailed NCL in the past on Norwegian Windword 1993 and Escape in 2017. We may consider NCL Aqua, but I feel that when you are booking in a suite category and the Haven, everything should be inclusive, and NCL does not do that.
   With the yacht club, everything is included other than gratuities, that's how I think it should be when paying for that type of luxury. We paid 7,600 dollars or 547.00 per person per day for our MSC WA trip. It is a good value, we hope.
   Also the only way we would sail a ship with 6,700 passengers was in a ship within a ship concept so we could have the best of both worlds of exploring this massive ship but also have the ability to escape the large crowds when needed. The amenities of embarking and disbarking along with the butler service to the entertainment venues are a plus as well, and Ocean Cay and its amenities.
   Our preferred line is Celebrity and we have our second cruise booked with them on Ascent in March of 2026 for an 11 night Panama Canal and Southern Caribbean ABC Islands cruise booked in a Aqua Sky Suite and the retreat experience on deck 10 port side of the ship.
   This will also be our first experience on an edge class ship and suite category along with the retreat. We paid $700.00 per person per day or 16K for the two of us for this bucket list trip.

7. The lack of explanation would bother be so much if I was paying for a premium experience.

   I feel like no matter what kind of room I have on my first cruise, I still want a balcony…just something about eating breakfast on the balcony sounds nice to me ^_^

   The unwind spot seems like it would be paramount to ending the night right.

   Not asking the ladies of the table first? Eesh

   One hot tub for four hundred people? Eesh again 😅

9. Good video, but I think you were off on a few item. First off, we're booked on WA in a YC1 suite and we're paying just under $6k. That same week in the lowest Haven cabin available is over $10k (it's 70% higher). The prices aren't even close. Also, you're comparing an owners suite to an entry level balcony suite – not a fair comparison at all (not that I'm saying Haven cabins aren't nicer). Lastly, to give Haven the edge on the lounges because of sitting at the bar is pretty lame when even you said YC had the edge in all other aspects. I'd love to try the Haven, but I'm not in a position to spend over $10k for 1 week and I'll still have to pay for wifi.

10. after 5 yacht club cruises we believe MSC is far above the other cruise lines special areas… its a joke to compare an NCL owners suite with an MSC YC balcony!!! you should do a report comparing Motel 6 with The Westin in Times Square… A big issue is the World America has been reviewed by many YC cruisers and 100% report that World is the worst YC experience… Try Port Canaveral and any of the Scape ships… they are all fantastic… we still like the enthusiasm you bring to this report… cheers…

12. The Yacht Club pool deck looked sad. It’s disappointed because this is MSC’s number one ship. MSC Meraviglia had a small but intimate pool area with a buffet. It was a great place for a quiet breakfast.

13. I've never stayed in the Haven but from what I've been told it's always empty. The food menu isn't good. So you're definitely on point. I have no interest in the haven. I'm good with a nice balcony and spa package. That's the way

16. First let me say you did a wonderful presentation. Also let me add we have cruised only twice with a third coming up in the Yacht Club while we are Platnum+ with 9 in the Haven with another booked. I absolutely agree with everything you said. We find the butlers on MSC do not measure up to Norwegian butlers at all and the suites on MSC are lacking when compared to Norwegian. The menus being unchanged on Norwegian is a disappointment with variety offered on MSC is welcome. As a matter of fact we have not dined in a Specialty Resturant on MSC knowing the Yacht Club Resturant does change daily but on Norwegian we dine 3 times in Specialy Resturants to get the variety. We are not social butterflies so bar seating is not something we desire so the comfortable seating, snacks, wonderful service and evening entertainment makes MSC our choice. We spend a significant time in our suite and take full advantage of the services our butler can provide make Norwegian our choice but pretty much everything sways us to MSC so we will just keep sailing both as long as the money holds out. 18. Thanks for the comparison, very interesting. Confirmed what I thought, if you want a luxury, kid-free experience (and yes, I know you are about cruising with families) stick to the likes of Regent, Silversea and Seabourn . Works for us every time.

21. Very informative and helpful analysis. You're correct in noting that choices depend upon personal preference – I'm not a drinker (neither is my spouse and son), so many of your criticisms of the Yacht Club lounge and pool hinged on bar space and service, features about which I don't care.

22. I think this person doesn’t quite understand, because they’ve never seen a true Norwegian Cruise Line Broadway-style show, clearly! On MSC, the performances are often lip-synced, with minimal props and large but simple stages — it honestly feels more like a middle school production from my gifted music days. Norwegian, at least, puts on full-scale productions worthy of being called Broadway-style! Truth serum!
