21. I was captain of a sister ship in the 80’s. They are great boats. Shame to see the varnish in such poor condition, not to mention the fairly evident deferred maintenance in many places. It takes at least two skilled and experienced people full time to maintain that boat in good condition, plus periodic boatyard stays with lots of man hours and $$$$. Catching up from where you are takes even more resources…….its a big boat.

34. WHY do you call it VINTAGE ?? My 10.7 meter sloop was a 1982 and I NEVER felt it was VINTAGE.

35. I worked for Hood during my HS years. Truly magnificent how his ability to articulate common known geometric placebo's into works of art. Seaworthy, his team of finish carpenter's did justice to the world of cruising sailboats.
