Great comments from Armel Le Cléac'h and Sam Goodchild at the finish
What was the winning time?
Congrats from the Bodensee
For God’s sake,0-# give then some English classes!
35 knot downwind leg average speed. Any question about what the fastest type of boat is?
These flat foiling monster ocean going trimarans are, for me, beyond the America's Cup. They are, quite literally, the ultimate. To be able to single hand foil around the world? At these incredible speeds? Just amazing. Trimarans have to be the future platform for short handed foiling. When you see Imocas dragging their arses around the world struggling to stay flat, slamming from wave to wave with canting keels, C foils and fat noses….you just know something is never going to be quite right with ocean going foiling monohulls…..then you see a foiling trimaran? It just looks right, you just know in your gut that short handed foiling has to be a trimaran. I want to blast on a 50ft version of this so bad it hurts!
Just perfect commentary!
Tom is better to sail than to speak English 😅
