3. Alright Tony hope you are OK, I don't think I've seen a catamaran 50ft and up that I've not liked especially the likes of Silent and Sunreef with the solar and Eco propulsions . My only thing on alot of these catamarans that I really dislike are the way the crew cabins seem to be squeezed into both bows almost as an afterthought, I don't know perhaps that just me but I always say "happy crew happy yacht ". 5. Nice looking Yacht, but not for me. 100% EV is not safe. What isn't mentioned is that EVs, boats, Cars, and Bicycles, even laptops, cell phones, overheat and catch on fire very often. Which the governments and the Electric industry keep from the public knowing. Once an electric vehicle, boat, etc, catches fire, it goes up extremely quick with no way of extinguishing the flames quickly and safely. It's a silent killer. Also, it is not cleaner or safer for the environment. It costs a lot more than wind and diesel.

8. Thank you for the video. I really like the idea behind the all electric yachts. However I have never found the marketing to be anything other then a misdirection. The 5000 NM range is 99.25% Diesel. Not even 1% of the stated range is battery. I am not sure about the EU but I do have a lot of experience in the west coast, California. So going from Long Beach, Ca to Marina Del Ray, CA is roughly 40 nm. The chance of making the trip on Battery Power alone is highly questionable if not impossible without absolutely perfect conditions. That is a very short trip. Is electric power for yachts the way to go in the future? Yes, absolutely. I want to have battery powered propulsion for harbor and close to shore right now. However I do believe that the producers of these all electric yachts need to be far more transparent when it comes to range. House Load is good and usually right for what is quoted but range is always overstated.

10. Generator powered, not really Eco! I'd be a little uncomfortable at 8 knots on a long passage especially a trans Atlantic! Battery powered yachts are still in their infancy. Thanks Tony!

15. Great tour, beautiful boat. ECO/EV cat is a joke. Sails are the ONLY ecological friendly way to travel on the seas. But they take work and attention. And most likely less cost in maintenance, when that battery dies, or blows up and destroys the entire boat.

20. Sorry it’s not eco friendly it runs on a diesel generator that’s the only reason why they can claim such a range. No where will they list what you get on a single battery charge. So hope and pray it’s always sunny

28. It’s not the level of fit and finish and quality as the Italian shipyards, but this is a lower price point.

29. Nothing “eco” about this! It’s so absurd. You’re burning MORE FUEL to move because you have losses for the generator to charge the batteries and losses to store the electricity. Running straight diesel engines to the props and a diesel generator is more efficient. The owner probably drives a Tesla and thinks he’s “saving the planet”. SFS.
