12. Great movie vlog/comparison 👏🏽 After watching both, I still think I would do the Explora. I believe the MSC experience was nice but I think between the food and entertainment, I would rather sail on the Explora.

    Altho, I loved the entertainment provided at the end of this vlog. I was waiting for them to do “Boots on da Ground” 😂 And I see u got used to having a butler real quick (although u didn’t want the attention) in the beginning 😂

16. Cheryl, I want to share some information with you on gluten. I have been gluten free for over 10 years because not only am I allergic to gluten but also to wheat. I saw when you eat a regular hamburger bun on this cruise. Once your body is gluten free generally inflammation is reversed! I say generally because other factors like dairy can also cause inflammation. A study was done recently that discovered that inflammation is the silent cause for women who are otherwise healthy suffer heart attacks or strokes! In this country unlike Europe doctors do not check for inflammation unless you go to a functional medicine doctor. Ever since I was diagnosed with gluten allergy and a few other allergies I go to a functional medicine clinic. And. Research food and the latest medical studies. Once your body is clear of gluten you do not want to reintroduce it because of the inflammation. There are so many alternates for eating gf and as you pointed out the menus on both Explora 1 and MSC (2 of my upcoming solo cruises) identify gluten conscious! There’s also an app called find me gluten free where you put in the type of food and the area you are at and it shows you restaurants and reviews. Hope this info helps you stay off the fence and stay gluten free. Your future self will thank you! Stay blessed and keep up the great reviews for solo and gf cruisers!

17. So I've looked at cruises in the past and wondered if I could be brave enough to go solo… What advice do you have for me? And if you had to guess a number… What would the $ range be for a 7 night… Id prefer everything paid up front so I can just enjoy everything with no $ worries when I'm there.

18. I’ll be on my first MSC cruise in January. Solo cruising as well. I love cruising for one.
