7. I will always remember when my dad and I rented a fishing boat for a week in FL, and after day 1, we made sure to secure it nice and tight to the dock. Sure enough it was humiliating returning to the boat next morning at low tide… she was hung so tight to those cleats listing near 45°… it was like a gruesome crime scene.

   A classic example of midwesterners gracing Florida marinas with their handiwork for the enjoyment of all, free of charge.

17. Brought here by YT. The sheer luxury is in using precious 'clean' /'fresh' water to hose down a boat. But then probably, there are large sources of 'clean' / 'fresh' water from nearby lakes and perennial rivers.
