I think we all need to appreciate this guy is a boat man, not a car guy. His definition of economical on fuel is not what the average persons definition of economical is. I did some quick math and without proper skill I think this thing gets about the same Miles per Gallon as a 7.2 litre V8 F-250 towing an enormous caravan. It's not a Toyota Prius fuel economy.
Of course, if you're feeling anything with petrol or diesel who would miss an opportunity to do that in America!

How many litres per nautical mile?
london -> NY = 3800 miles, speed of 7 knots takes you 20 days no stop to get there. most people need to turn around half way because they only have 3 weeks holiday 😉
without real numbers, nobody believes this shid
at 7 knots, every yacht can do thousands of milesand those solar panels are not even enough to charge the phones on board… I guess it will consume 1 on 1
