Shellback!
Indonesia is really a place of wonder and chaos. People who grow up that way are used to it. Only been to Sulawesi but we traveled there for a full week and did other places on our way back. People always thought we were an NGO. Few Americans travel to places like that. It can be stressful especially since the pandemic🤷🏼♀️

Hey, brother. If you make it to Phuket area let me know. I will take you for a good dinner 🙏
Really good video
Hangdrum Music suits you and your Videos perfectly
great worx! how je analise your battery safety plan, how you share setting sails(miss that at others), sailing out from anchorage without engine, your thought of self preperation, share your routings, great how you managed to loosen and your disclaimer for the minor reef hit with the drama.
but i was thinking, prop pull is a soft pull… how about a boom? or a throw anchor(in the deeper direction)? to have a bigger push/pull off! drama it was, mostly one can free in such states, but are also most starts of big dramas!
Welcome back to the Northern hemispere.
How about an hour live sailing instead of the great collection of picks?
hydrofane? isn’t windfane?
nice ! your stabalizing camera, much better than fixed to the boatdance.
Congrats leaving Indonesia!
thx for sharing!
south china sea, where are you, you are in coastal water
Somehow I missed why you don't have an electric motor to haul up the anchor. Was the battery disconnected?
Incredible vlog man, sorry
Silly question: When I do that on my lake sail boat, I can have the main full up. I just leave the boom freely out… that way I don't sail over the anchor. Why can't you do that, too?
Hey James, hope all is well with you.
In the last video you talked about finding the (potentially) blown fuse for the alternator. Did this fix the issue for you?
Good luck in your adventures. Hopefully one day I'll be out there too but I'll be considerably older than you are now, if/when that happens!
Your harness ❤
Malaysia will be a good place wake up to prayer calls five times a day. In my experience Malay mosques have better speakers than Indonesian ones. Good Luck my dear enemy.
Why Lyn and Larry never trusted technology, it makes you take chances you wouldn't otherwise I.E. coming close on corners. I do it myself and wonder if I'm a statistic waiting to happen.
Love watching you on your travels. You might consider explaining some of the things you have to do operating and the sailboat like what are the different flags you display along with what the process is checking in at different countries ports.
I always have Google Maps open and follow along while watching your videos. Area you heading towards India/Myanmar or Vietnam/China after Singapore/Malaysia?
At 13:08 in the back ground in the water; what is that pile of old lumber and a roof? A building on stilts or a house boat ? Great job James! I have been stuck once in the mud and it is not a good feeling.
I can tell by the movement of your boat that you were not really aground please don’t bullshit us
Bravo James.
Hats off to pulling up the anchor ⚓️ one way to stay fit 💪 safe sailing ⛵️
Less complaining and more sailing please
I got stuck on a rock while tubing in the river and I panicked!!😮
Escaping home, its the main problem 😂 of course hard to pass Indonesia, it is a big territory in equator that connected 2 Ocean & 2 Continent, strong current also bussy sea route on thousands islands. Sail cloth its not enough.
