  1. Great video Alex. Quite informative. Now I'm looking forward to our Divina cruise even more. We enjoyed the World America, however have a warm spot for the Sea-class ships. We really like the layout of those vessels.

  7. Your comparison of the ship classes was brilliant! Given the cabins outside the bubble are often cheaper, would you still book a Duplex Suite on Deck 12 over a smaller suite entirely inside the Yacht Club area?

  8. This analysis of the different Yacht Club experiences was so insightful! Regarding the dining, is the food quality in the Yacht Club restaurant noticeably better on the smaller, older classes than the newer mega-ships?

  9. Since the private lift only goes to the spa on the Fantasia class, is the gym on the newer classes better equipped to compensate for the inconvenience of access?

  17. Great comparisons! I enjoyed YC in World Europa, can’t imagine how much better it is in smaller ships. I am really curious of how Magnifica and Poesia are going to be since they are both now getting YC.

    Thank you for the comparisons!
    My wife and I are going on our first MSC cruise on World America in the Yacht Club on deck 21 in a deluxe balcony suite on there 7 night Eastern Caribbean itinerary including there private island of Ocean Cay.
    We are not MEGA ship people per say but the itinerary, time frame , price and reviews of yacht club sold us to give it a try.
    We actually wanted to to do the yacht club on a smaller ship like the sea class ships but we could not find the itinerary we wanted nor the right time frame but did find it with WA.
    If we enjoy this trip in 20 days from today we may look to do this line again but only in yacht club or Aurea suites.
    We are also going in with low expectations as the reviews for World America have been mixed for the ship overall and also the yacht club but this ship has only been sailing since April 2025.
    Our preferred line to sail on is Celebrity but we also like trying new lines as a fresh perspective.
    The only way though we would sail a massive ship of 6,700 families with lots of kids was in yacht club.
    We like the idea of having the best of both worlds of exploring this size ship but also having the tranquility of yacht club to return to when the crowds get to be a bit to much.

  22. First of all, thank you for another fantastic video.
    I agree with your view on the personal service in the YC Fantasia class, which is largely due to the size of the ships. However, their age means that the level of maintenance is somewhat lacking.
    I was on YC Fantasia this February, staying in a family suite. The personal interaction with the staff was excellent—far above what we’ve experienced on the YC Meraviglia class.
    That said, the suite showed clear signs of poorly done patchwork repairs, especially in the bathroom, where sealant had been used to cover up damage, and the bathtub was unusable due to the surrounding construction.
    The carpets and furniture also showed noticeable wear and tear.
    We’ve now booked a trip on YC World Europa to try that experience, and we’re hoping to try the YC Seaside class next summer.

  23. Thank You, Alex. I booked a YC Duplex Suite on the Grandiosa next year for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Everything I've seen about it looks amazing. We did a Sanctuary Balcony room aboard the Sun Princess this past May, and enjoyed it, but wanted a LOT more money for the same room next year. So we're giving YC a try.

  24. World Europa YC does have afternoon tea. It's called High Tea and it's served at the Top Sail Lounge. My friend and I have booked a YC Duplex Suite with Whirlpool on the World Europa.

  25. AGREE 100%. Sailed on three MSC YC ships and the Fantasia experience was MUCH better than almost every other. The first YC experience was on the Meraviglia and it was outstanding, but the Splendida was AWESOME.

  27. I was on the Euribia and the Preziosa so far, and I think that Euribia is the better option – it still isn't too crowded, but you have all YC venues at the front. While it is sometimes nice to stretch your legs and walk to the restaurant at the aft on Fantasia Class, it was just nicer to have everything nearby like on Euribia. Plus, the venues just feel a lot more modern, which I prefered. Price-wise Preziosa was a lot more attractive on my trips, though – I paid about the same for the YC1 on Preziosa as I did for the YIN on Euribia. If I had to compare apples with apples, so both YC1, Preziosa was a lot cheaper – and I wouldn't hesitate booking it again. I just enjoyed the Masters of the Sea, I love that pub style. And the Carousel Lounge was a banger

    The Fantasia Class offers two specialty restaurants, however – Butcher's Cut and on Splendida, for example, Sea Pavilion. On Preziosa it is the Galaxy Restaurant

  28. Thanks, Were about to try MSC for the first time and taking the Seascape out of Galveston for it's inaugural cruise out of Texas. We upgraded to the yacht club, so your information was very helpful.

  29. We have sailed with msc many times but never in yacht club. Now we decided to give it a try and we just booked our first yacht club on divina in june
