Wow, so much going on – what a fun boat.
David, surface drives work so well at speed because a prop's 'work', in horsepower terms, only puts the power down at the bottom of the rotation, the top blades are doing nowt but adding drag. Put'em in air, no drag. Racers have used this for decades.
For an 80 foot yacht it sure does bounce a lot while at anchor.
The silver bullet, cool spec, and plenty of space for guests. Lovely video team.
I always want to know how the yachts will perform in mid-to-high sea states. That is information that is never included in the marketing.
