Safe travels guys – you are all so inspiring!
Great place to visit Cairns. Big street blocks surprised you didnt film the town?
Towing the tender ,does that use more fuel ?
Also with the tender,do you have a safety cable attached for any occasion that might see the engine come loose and fall off ?
I know it sounds pedantic,, But you're not "steaming" guys,,, you're "motoring".. if you had steam during your travels,, Your Motor would be on borrowed time eh??? As I said, I'm not picking on you,, Just being accurate. By The way, I love your Vids and have been watching, pretty much, since day 1. Keep up the great work.
What a wonderful experience for your crew diving on that beautiful reef. Makes crewing a joy.
When there's a cyclone approaching Port Douglas all the boats that are moored in the river get driven into the mangroves for protection.
🇦🇺 👍😎
Queensland coast. World class sailing.
Drop your crab pots !
Knowing you and stainless steel pipe, I am surprised you don't create a capped steel tube that will be a permanent replacement. Forget that plastic stuff… 🙂
You found a beautiful anchorage in Port Douglas. Because we don't have mangrove forests in Europe, it's incredibly exotic for us to anchor like that. We also enjoyed seeing Alena and Birk still on board as crew members and are very curious to see if they'll continue to accompany you to your destination in Indonesia. We look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands
Did you manage to get the replacement filter housings, it is a little dodgy to have one filter with no spare parts especially since you don't know what caused the crack in the one you took off.
Lucky you didn't let the genny run for another 3 hours before the oil change.
😈 😇
Swimming Pool shops have those filter housings. We bought a complete unit whilst in Townsville same thing happened small crack in the bottom we actually fixed it temporarily with epoxy.
Hi guys, will we get to see more underwater footage? If so thanks so much.
You can repair the water filter cup with a soldering iron. Use a flat-headed soldering iron and melt the crack closed with the plastic from a cable tie. If necessary, melt a paperclip with it to strengthen the weld.
Watch out for crocs in the pools at Port.
great teacher
Be mindful of the flight time for steaming drone shots…GPS return to home is where you were…also my drone – DJI Mini – had a geofence at about 3km from take off location. So it hit a hard wall and would follow any further, even tho technically you are in constant sight of it. Had to turn around and retrieve it before return to home activated for battery life….plop 💦💧💦
.
18:09 I can almost see the VHS static on the screen when you do a pause cut in 😂
Hey Damien your wing bolts are getting way rusty- would a touch of anti-seize be a bit better than striping the threads? Just food for thought.
I will confess: I was worried that I would lose interest once Brupeg was finished and in operation. But you folks have kept my interest for sure!! This video is a great example: Good music, fabulous drone footage, lots of info on systems such as how much the solar panels produce vs. how much the AC units, refers and so forth are consuming. All good! Running the genset to heat up the oil, putting the used oil into the tank (is it a 'balast tank' or just a tank?) Thanks for bringing us along.
This channel stands alone in being as interesting AFTER the refit as during the work. Always good to see what the crew is up to!
Good to see you all having a good time. Thanks for sharing
I had one of those filter holders break in my house overnight once. Found out when I was getting air out of the sink faucet in the morning. If I remember correctly, it tripled my water bill.
good video
Hi guys
Enjoyed the trip pity the weather was so bad😅😅. I see you have some covers on your rib and wandering where you got them and rough costs.
Keep safe
Graeme
Wow!
She cuts a fine wake mate!
Just visiting Cooktown, very excited to see Brupeg in the river, lots of grinding noises !
Punch a small hole in the bottom (end )of the filter, let drain (bucket) less mess 👍
Big mud crabs in the middle of Low Wooded Isle !
Do you just use bom for weather or other sites as well
Great to Birk back on Brupeg. is he here for a holiday?
