  1. I was in Trogir a couple of days ago and there was a Sunreef 70 moored up it looked huge compared with the other 24m ish yachts next to it . There was a 42m Super yacht there as well and it compared to that in volume.

  2. Quite a remarkable and innovative design. One thing I really did notice right from the start was how much the boat seemed to be rocking and bobbing about at anchor for her size, which absolutely gave away that it was a catamaran. A monohull of even ten feet less length, and far less beam usually has that much more stability, given the commonality of seakeepers or active fin stabilization we expect today. It did give me the feeling that if she's moving that much when docked AND sheltered by other boats, that I probably wouldn't want to be out on her in any even moderately rough stuff.

My overall feeling is that this is built primarily as a charter yacht. While it has more than enough comfort to be a liveaboard, the helm stations were notably just that bit distinct and distant from any other seating, as if whoever was at the helm, whichever of the two, wasn't expected to be a part of any conversations or socializing. That the crew space was so comfortable and generous added to that 'built to charter' feeling.

I have somewhat mixed feeling about the guest cabins (all 4 generous doubles) having their main, non-emergency access via the galley. While that certainly gives the guests very convenient access to getting themselves a drink or a snack, it was unusual enough to really stand out and make me question it. But their only other access to the rest of the boat is by going through the owners cabin – fine in emergency, but not something really convenient. I found that and the helms really emphasized that this isn't designed as an owner-operator boat.

  3. If I find a tattoo, a braid, a suit and tie, vest, collar shirts, thongs, stilettos, thongs, corsets, lace, garters, lap tops, smart phones or anything invented by Vi King Lyon in your country. I am going to icbm the land mass. I didn't invented English and French and Master of the arts for a bunch of lazy loser foreigners to live lile my culture. Invented highly classified only. Shouldn't of stole that sail ship huh…

  4. Not a fan. The hull slap in the tunnel will drive me absolutely bonkers. There are ways to mitigate this, and Lazzara definitely did not do that. No thanks.

  5. This is basically just a big floating house. Well utilized space but ultimately it's more a house than a boat.
I don't think it'll have good seakeeping qualities unless your intention is to just drive along the cost with large group of folks.
Maybe that's the target market! Then this would be great.
If I have 8M to throw, I rather spend 2.5 on a house and 5.5M on a real nice actual boat.

  6. This packs in the great design ideas and it looks like a perfect yacht. As you say, how does she sail, really factors in here because there is no obvious spot for tenders (other than the raised cockpit or beachclub which seems tenuous in following seas). Passagemaking seems like an after-thought?

  7. From the images you can clearly see that it is the only yavht that is dancing while the others are still…and it is also a catamaran…well we are doing well

  8. Acres of space – her dimensions are quite deceiving. Even the engine room seemed spacious which seems unusual for a cat. Would also love to see a sea trial.

  9. Great tour, stunning boat. There's something going on with the frame rate or something else that is causing a jitter effect throughout the video though, it's giving me a migraine. Anyone else noticing this?

  10. The wave slap on those chimes and the rocking destroys an notion of traquilaty (the owner's suite is also above the engine rooms). Note a light boat either…

  11. Great layout and design details. The beach club size from a much larger yacht. Where was this filmed? Looks like a great location

  12. Lazzara 300PC, will be your own private, movable château on the water! The master cabin windows will offer stunning views, any-and-every time of day, the curtains into the head look nice, but pocket doors would offer a little more privacy, and the drop-down shelf is very clever. The day head on the main deck, could have a better placement for the garbage receptacle? The Jacuzzi on the sundeck should be (imho) an infinity pool, and the view should be… Ooh lala
Thanks, Hugo for the great tour. It was 'tremendous' fun!

  13. As you say, the proof of the pudding would be when underway. Put her in a six foot sea and wait for the slamming? Who knows? I am sure she would make a great warm water summer floating villa. I might keep my $10 million in the bank and wait for my Fleming 85 to be completed. If only? A very interesting video though. 👍

  14. A boat that big will mostly have a hired Captain. In that case, having a separated helm away from Guests would be better. Both of these helms are very out-in-the-open.
