Where does the tiny door in the shower go?!❤
Loving this
£100k per foot? They’re such interesting traditional boats but compared to many on the channel, the value isn’t immediately evident.
Only one change I’d make. Move the hatch and ladder to that ‘dry- engineering space’ to the owner’s cabin. It’s not something I would wish to bother my guests with, when needing to access the space. This would also facilitate the creation of a ‘citadel’ between the crew space, main engine room and the ‘dry-engineering’ space that is then accessible from both the master cabin and the separated guest cabins.
Other than that, a phenomenal vessel. I love the look of the lighter wood on the saloon sole, but it doesn’t really match in with the remaining amazing darker woods in the space. Maybe introduce a lighter accent wood inlay into the larger surfaces.
I really am not that into Fleming yachts, but this boat is really impressive…
Thank you, Nick….
Cool yacht but that asking price is wild
“Sorry madam!”
Don’t pretend it would be the first time, Nick…
I do love the decoration but it looks a bit cramped for 8.5 million. Maybe fewer, larger cabins would help.
Proper traditional quality gorgeous 😊
So interesting and insightful to read the comments of our vessel. We have lived full-time on board since picking her up straight from the yard in Taiwan 18 months ago. She's not 'just a boat', she's designed to be our home for the next 7-10 years.
The layout is our choice that works very well for us. You could easily add more cabins and an enclosed flybridge. For us, an open flybridge is what we love. We also admire the enclosed flybridge version of the 85, but it is not for us. After owning a Fleming 65 and also a 55 that we lived on the majority of the time for 3 years, we created an 85 with spaces that work for us. We did 4 trips to the yard during the build. Tweaked it every single time to get her 'exactly' how we wanted our home to be. It came close to perfection.
Yes, we could have bought a much larger 85 ft yacht for the same price with more volume. As an owner, it's the running cost and the capacity of ' how much space' do you really need to be able to operate it as husband and wife. Fleming provides a high-quality vessel that we are very comfortable with. Their customer relations are amazing and we love feeling the joy of being able to run this boat, just the two of us if we choose.
Totally understand that 'our taste' is not for everyone when it comes to interior or layout. The same way we feel when we enter a wonderful home, that may suit someone else, but not us. How boring it would be if we all liked the same thing.🙌
However, living on board FREJA is nothing short of WONDERFUL.
The places we go, the people we meet, the memories we make. ..
And as for our 'guests' – being parents, kids or great friends- no one has ever complained about the 'guest cabins being too small'.
Thank you Nick, you did a wonderful walk-through and really understood why we designed her the way we did.
With Love from Italy.
❤️
I remember a Fleming advert years ago that said;
"If you have lived a virtuous and selfless life, always paid your taxes and been kind to all animals, you might just find yourself owning a Fleming built to last till the end of time, where you cruise in the whisper quiet and reflect you have reached sailing nirvana".
wow. incredible boat. I have a diesel duck 44. on the water, a Fleming is always the easiest to identify. Perfect Yacht
Cheers Nick, great boat and great tour ! You could buy one for me and my mates. I bet you won't !
Such a well thought out design and a beautiful yacht , congrats to the owners.
I've been following the Fleming channel for years but your tour is next level, as always. Thanks Nick.
Very nice and a very proper tour.
You have no idea how happy your tour has made me
I liked all of it…so clean, it is well loved as well.
I wonder what a 145’ would Iook like
Dear owners
Would you buy a larger version or are you comfy with this one
What is missing? A submarine area, trash compactor , hot tub
Sauna,
Who's here in 2025 after the Josh Johnson video? 🙂
I have ben following "Freja" for a short while now. A great cruising boat. Thanks for the full tour. Also subscribed to their channel.
crew accommodations rather spartan
Walking around you can certainly see where the money has been spent. Top quality fittings and finish everywhere.
What a boat.
Fantastic little ship there, with good space for cruising the 7 seas 😄 I just love these kind of yachts, where you can disappear for months 😋 Thanks for a great tour 😊
Flemings are magical and on my "I wish I had worked harder" list. Thank you for not mentioning "a serious bit of kit once."
It's a lot of money but, if ya can afford it by God could ya enjoy that floating complete home ..love it 😁👍🏴🏴🏴
Ill take it
Fleming really are top draw of the boating world and I've love their videos and have waited for you to do this tour so thank you ,and as always done well.
really like the part at 14:44 where the sign says "Please do not touch the controls" I hope we don't see you touching the controls.
Yooo this one was special. Very cool craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing!
So you just have to touch the controls when there is a sign telling not to….LOL…..but great video as always 🙂
add some bigger windows in the master, and more fuel capacity and I'll buy…j/k
it really is a nicely laid out yacht
I am so glad the owners of MY Freja allowed a thorough tour of their fantastic boat, Freja. I enjoy watching g their cruising content. Great tour.
Gotta be an Aussie owner with the Vegemite in the galley 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Ive been waiting to see a in use Fleming 85 ever since they announced they were going to be building that size. What a spectacular boat! Thank you and the owners.
I wish I had 3.9M to buy that Versace one. Nowadays I bet it's double minimum, but still a better deal than this. 😂
